My partner and I stayed here for for 4 nights end of Oct 2023. We had the most peaceful time. The room in the corner overlooking the garden is spacious and is decorated very well. The pool in the garden has the most amazing view out over the mountains. The breakfast is a choice of cooked and continental with great coffee. Our guess manager was such a lovely person who we got on with very well. We would definitely recommend Banhoek Corner Guesthouse and would very much like to return again one day!

This is a super place to spend a weekend and be pampered. On arrival we were welcomed by Magda who was extremely helpful. After showing us to our room ( which had a fire place) she arranged for a fire to be lit and also for enough wood to be left in the room for us to keep the fire fed all night if need be. There is also a very efficient aircon should one opt not to have a fire. The bed was huge as was the bathroom which was spotless and had every possible lotion/shampoo etc. The buffet breakfast served after 8 am was superb. The lady serving the breakfast was most friendly/helpful/efficient and certainly knew how to prepare eggs of any description. All in all a delightful breakfast. The place is very well situated for outings to Stellenbosch and the surrounding wine estates. The only slightly negative is the parking which is a bit tight - as well as the proximity to the R310 which is a fairly busy/noisy road.

We stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The manager was so lovely and the breakfast lady could not do more for us. Freshly baked scones and croissants, fresh fruit, cheese and much more. Even tho it was cold, at night we put the lovely fireplace on at night and sat in the communal area by the fire - very cosy! The beds are comfy, the pillows good and the bathroom modern and clean. We will definitely come back next time we stay in the area. Thanks for a lovely few days!

Fantastic place to stay in Stellenbosch with a great view. Magda and the staff do everything to make you feel at home. Rooms are spacious, clean and provided with everything you need. Also breakfast is outstanding with a lot of choice.

We loved the atmosphere- very relaxing with plenty of outdoor space including a pool. We stayed in the main house where we had a large bedroom and bathroom, comfortable large bed and a courtyard. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning. The location is close to wineries, the wine tram and Stellenbosch. Our host Magda was attentive and helpful with sightseeing suggestions.

What a fantastic place! The room was wonderfully spacious and nothing was missed. The hospitality and local guidance received from Caspar, the owner, was truly outstanding. If you're planning a stay in Stellenbosch be sure to give this place a visit!

A lovely relaxing place to stay with beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. Rooms are large and quiet and it's worth paying a little more to get ones with the best view. The complimentary bottle of Bartinney wine was most welcome and unexpected. Breakfasts are comprehensive and a great start to the day.
