This place was like something out of a glorious dream. We went in the rain and everything was soft and so incredibly beautiful. Service was exceptional and the food was ambrosia. Honestly one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

In the mood for the best views? Then Tokara is your place. We sat at the window and just absorbed the landscape. Very artsy and instagramable winery. Next time we will scroll through the vineyards to go on the sculpture tour.

It was a cold and rainy day, but Tokara restaurant was warm and welcoming! With a fire burning, good food and excellent wine, lunch was most enjoyable. Thank you to Chamu for his friendly and professional service. I love food that is quality made and bursts with interesting combinations of flavour. Tokara does not disappoint! Also received a complimentary dessert for my birthday, which was unexpected.

Not just a place for the wine tasting, olives and cheese platters but also an experience of amazing art sculptures scattered all over the property.

We had an extraordinary experience visiting @Tokara Wine estate in Stellenbosch recently. The wines were truly remarkable, and the electric bikes purchased from @Wineland Bikes made exploring the area a breeze. The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Wineland Bikes ensured a seamless and enjoyable day. The stunning scenery at Tokara added to the overall charm, making it a memorable adventure. I highly recommend this unique experience to anyone looking for exceptional wines and a fun way to explore the beautiful Stellenbosch region. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Tokara and take advantage of Wineland Bikes' services for an unforgettable day filled with great wine and breathtaking views.

The most beautiful views, great service and exceptional wines. Try the olive tasting and prepare to spend some time there. Staff was great and all over a great experience

One of the most scenic places in the world. The scenery looks like paintings…. They have wine and olive farms on the property and many more. The dinner menu is expensive but worth trying, it is an experience! Cuisines are served in very authentic way. Staff is okay, I felt they weren’t very-very happy to see us but who cares, we are paying and they have to serve . Let me mention, they weren’t rude at all, so not good not bad, means all okay ;) They also have very good vegetarian menu, although they messed up my first course :( but I were with a big group (10) so I forgive them. To have an idea about property and restaurant, look at the pictures attached. I recommend this place :)

We went for wine tasting at Tokara and had the most amazing experience. The view is otherworldly, making you feel as though you’re in another county. We were guided through the wine tasting by Chim and he made the experience all the more special. He was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about the wine. The wine itself was good and we really enjoyed the cheese board as well. There are many wine estates in Stellenbosch but only one Chim. We will definitely be back!

I was so excited to go to Tokara that I booked a month and a half in advance for Fathers Day. Our waiter Admire was an absolute treat, looked after us, had some banter with us and even took a few photos for memories sake. Sadly my meal was not up to scratch and had given Admire the feedback. He was so lovely and when the bill came they deducted the meal from our overall bill. As much as I was grateful for this gesture, at no point did a manager come over to chat about it or offer any apology. Pretty poor for this caliber of restaurant Sadly we will not race back to the restaurant but would rather be inclined to try the wine tasting. The views are beautiful and the 2 fireplaces are very inviting in the wine tasting room

Incredible visit at Tokara today. Aphiwe led us through a wonderful tasting of the best wines Tokara has to offer as well as their olive oils. We particularly loved the limited release pinotage which was just so wonderful. Aphiwe was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. The views are truly breathtaking and we got lucky as we arrived just before it got busy scoring the two best seats at the front of the terrace. Highly recommend a visit here.

Beautiful location, stunning tasting venue with spectacular views. And extremely expensive. The olive platter had miserly quantities and the inflexible, structured tasting options put a very clear limit what you can taste unless you're prepared to drop serious money... on tasting. No pricelist, water or spittoon made tasting even less worth the fees charged

My sister and i had the most amazing experience at Tokara Wine Estate. Firstly the most beautiful, breathtaking views...the vineyards...look like a paradise...we were impressed by the immaculate neat and cleanliness of the whole place, and the fast, excellent service, friendly and engaging staff was the best experience.
