Had a great time staying at La Fontaine for our honeymoon. Kim and her team were super helpful and friendly, whether from recommending things to do to always being there whenever we needed any help. The location is amazing being so close to the main street, with so many food options! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hot water bottles and pillow treats at turn down made the stay really cosy and welcoming. Also, a really nice touch was having a bottle of champagne in our room when we checked in which showed the extra effort! Would love to stay again!

We spent two nights at the La Fontaine Boutique Hotel during our SA road-trip. The La Fontaine was by far the most comfy hotel of our trip. With our own fireplace in our room, extraordinary breakfast (beyond classic intercontinental breakfast) and excellent service by the staff, this hotel was our favorite during our trip. It’s also a great place to start the Franschhoek Wine Tram Tour, as it departs in walking distance from the hotel. We highly recommend staying at the La Fontaine Boutique Hotel and would always come back!

Kim and her incredible team deliver some of the best care and service I have ever experienced in a hotel. This is a clear differentiator as there are many beautiful hotels in Franshoek. At La Fontaine nothing is to much effort for the team. The rooms are beautifully appointed, the breakfast has huge variety. We had a fantastic stay and highly highly recommended it!

I can’t imagine a more perfect place to stay. This was my second visit to La Fontaine, the first being a work trip, this time my husband and I spent 5 nights at the beginning of July. The location is perfect - one road down from the main road, you can walk to restaurants and shops, but there is no noise from the hustle and bustle; the staff are excellent and made our stay feel like home - Franklin, Robyn and Cecilia thank you for your warm and caring hospitality. Breakfasts are bountiful and while it would have been just as pleasant relaxing in our room, lazying by the warm fire in the cosy lounge was so nice. You don’t have to leave the hotel if you don’t want, there are so many places to relax. We will definitely be back soon! 💕

Wonderful stay at La Fontaine. Kim and her team were fantastic; made us feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent, really appreciated that they made a big effort to use only local ingredients wherever possible. Would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

I would give more stars if they would let me. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Turn down service with water and chocolate by your bed. Service is totally out of this world. They can't do enough for you. Breakfast is OK, although would like more choice for the cooked breakfast. Location is about 3 minute walk to the main town. Just an amazing hotel. Can't wait to come back.

Amazing place to stay in Franschoek! It is tranquil and wonderfully interesting, with great service. It has a very comfortable lounge one could happily while away the hours getting the kind of relaxation your normally hectic life deserves. Also, within easy walking distance of downtown with endless shops and restaurants to explore. The hotel also has bicycles available to cruise through the surrounding neighborhood, which has splendid views. We will most certainly come again.

Great little place.. the definition of how great service should be. Nothing is too much whilst you are there, making sure you feel completely relaxed and 'at home' throughout. Great breakfast, great bar & lounge atmosphere, and great recommendations. Above all is the amazing team, thanks for making our stay so great.

Wow wat a fantastic hotel. I travelled a lot and have stayed in lots of hotels and this is definitely one of my favourite places of all time to stay. Everything exceeds my expectations: the beautiful interior and exterior of the hotel, the superb room, the fantastic staff and lovely breakfast. I can really recommend.

Words cannot describe how amazing this Boutique Hotel is. We stayed a few days for our honeymoon a few weeks back and had the most relaxing time. The Staff were friendly and attentive. They helped us with our bookings for dinner and provided excellent recommendations. They made our stay feel like home. The rooms are spacious, the hotel had a nice lounge area and two small pools outside you can sit by.

The best service we’ve had anywhere in the world. Kim runs an incredible team who goes the extra mile at every step - noticing out absence and calling our room when we didn’t come to breakfast to offer bringing us breakfast (we left for an early morning hike), making us dinner outside of kitchen hours without a fuss, moving our car for us late at night when parking was full earlier in the day. Beautiful turn down service. Every single staff member was so helpful and kind. The location is 10/10 - we walked everywhere we wanted to go within 5 minutes. Everything so safe and secure. Honestly the most incredible stay with hands down the best service ever! Kim and her wonderful team always went out of their way to accommodate us. We had our bag stolen at a trail race in it were items we had borrowed from our room as well as our keys! Kim was so kind and understanding and didn’t charge us for the inconvenience. The food is divine, especially the breakfast and we loved the cheese burgers for dinner. We will definitely be returning to this special place, with friends and family. La Fontaine Boutique Hotel is a must if you staying over in Franschhoek. We had a great time at the place. Everything was perfect and service was top notch. From food, to room, to staff going out of their way to make you feel at home. Kim and her staff are amazing and willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. Even the gardener was amazing - he saw our car was a bit muddy and he washed it before we left. A really great holiday for our family. Even my 8 year old says they were amazing...

La Fontaine easily stands out as my favourite hotel experience, bar none. My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon in Franschhoek and the staff there really went out of their way to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Kim, Franklyn, Cecile, and every member of the staff were extremely friendly and attentive without being remotely intrusive. A very special thank you to Karloff, who took us on a completely unique wine tour through his home town and whose personal touch really allowed us to appreciate the best of what Franschhoek had to offer! The rooms struck a perfect balance of luxury and coziness with every amenity we could have wanted (fireplaces being a particularly welcome touch). The restaurant and bar were both extremely well stocked and the service was always top notch. We enjoyed our stay at la Fontaine so much that when an unexpected turn threw our travel plans into chaos, we immediately jumped at the chance to spend a few more days at the hotel. While we were there, the staff really went above and beyond in helping us as we got our travel plans back on track. Can't say enough good things about la Fontaine - You won't regret booking a stay with them!

The staff did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, Kym, Cecelia and Karloff were great, as were the rest of Kym’s team that we came into contact with. We would highly recommend this hotel, nothing too much trouble for them. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Had a wonderful stay here recently. The staff were incredible and immediately made you feel right at home. You are greeted by name, even by the staff you hadn't met yet, and they cater to your every need. Would absolutely recommend and plan to stay here again.

The service from the staff was impeccable. They catered for every need and were super attentive without being over bearing. Kim, Franklyn, Cecelia and the rest of the team were amazing, nothing was too much effort from restaurant bookings, wine farm tours, tram tour etc. There was a mix-up with flights and despite us arriving 24 hours later than expected Kim and team made us feel at home, sorted out out the arrangements and offered us numerous options to accommodate us. Breakfast was sumptuous, substantial and catered for all tastes. The facilities were magnificent especially the pools areas and the lounge.

What an amazing and perfectly adorable hotel! Everyone here greeted us with such big smiles and was so helpful throughout our stay. We couldn't have been happier being here. Kim has a great team and they all take such pride in their work there. Cecelia was so sweet when she showed us to our room and made sure we had everything we needed. Warwick was super fun to chat with and his attention to detail is something to be admired. Shelton always made sure we were home safely for the night. And Carlo was so thoughtful and made us a packed breakfast since we had to check out early. We can't recommend this place more. Our room was great and spotless. The bed was super comfortable. Location is great. Pretty much everything is within walking distance. Thank you all for a very special stay.

Kim and her team were incredible throughout our stay. They were very friendly and accommodating, and Kim provided us with some great insights on which wineries we should visit during our stay. Fantastic location and we very highly recommend. We look forward to staying with Kim again.

Never been treated so well. Kim.is fabulous, we were welcomed with breakfast even though checking wasn't until 2pm, when we came back after our wine farm tours we had afternoon pool time and welcome drinks. The rooms were huge, bed super comfortable. The staff are the detail that takes this hotel above and beyond , so attentive. Thankyou Kim for a wonderful stay, we will be back
