I would highly recommend a stay here - if you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city while still remaining close enough to most amenities. Vredenburg Manor is rich in history and hosts Luke and Leon is very knowledgeable when it comes to the legacy that the Manor carries. Friendly and professional staff greet you and no luxury is spared. Tastefully decorated spacious rooms makes your stay feel extra special and the fluffy clean and fresh bedding ensures a comfortable night's rest. Carefully thought through delicious 3 course meals are served in generous portions, enough to satisfy even the most finicky palate. There is a sparkling blue pool and comfortable pool furniture if you prefer to just laze around on a hot day. All in all, an exquisite experience.

It's been 8 months since my last visit and once again I was blown away. The experience at Vredenburg is unrivaled in the Western Cape. The lunch was ridiculously good and the hospitality, out of this world. I can't wait to return.

I attended a conference here. My biggest compliment would be to the chefs. The food was really on a high standard. Conference room was well equipped. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend!

Vredenburg Manor House is a beautifully restored, historic Cape Dutch homestead, located in stunning Western Cape wine country. The staff and management were welcoming, helpful and professional, and made our stay very enjoyable. Our room was large and tastefully furnished, with a very comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom with heated floor. The breakfasts were delicious and generous with plenty of choices. In all, a wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend Vredenburg Manor House.

If there was an option for more stars we'd have given it more! Vredenburg manor guest house is truly a gem in the heart of the Cape Winelands. We recently had the opportunity of photographing this amazing guest house for their online marketing. Although it feels like a home away from home because of the welcoming managers and staff, it still has the luxurious feel of a boutique guest house. The setting in the old Cape Dutch manor and the beautiful gardens are out of this world! We were blown away by this spacious suites and the top notch finishes. Our weekend stay at Vredenberg Manor was nothing short of amazing!! This beautiful location had us feeling as if we were so far away from the hustle and bustle yet it is conveniently located close enough to Stellenbosch. Luke and Leon are the most wonderful hosts that any guest can ask for, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an experience to remember, from the amazing food to the chats around the cosey fireplace. Stunning!!! Super clean, cozy rooms, delicious, well presented breakfast. The service from both hosts and staff is second to none! Quiet setting, well maintained gardens. Less than an hour from Cape Town Airport, a couple of minutes from Somerset West and perfect place when visiting the Cape Winelands. I truly enjoyed my stay at Vredenburg and would highly recommend to anyone.

This was our second visit to Vredenburg Manor House. It's conveniently situated on Winery Road. Bookings and check in went smoothly and efficiently. The hosts are welcoming and run a great establishment. Breakfast is superb! They even provided delicious takeaway egg and bacon croissants when we changed our flights and had to make a quick dash to the airport.

This picturest Bed and Breakfast facility is situated in the heart of Helderberg between Somerset West and Stellenbosch To experience a hike in the Helderberg Mountains and then cooling down with a swim in the pool. Some of the best wine farm and estates surrounding this venue. Travel to the beach is also an option before relaxing in front of the fire place in the evening

Nice venue to a Conference. Food was great as well as the view from the Braai/Fire pit. Toilets were a problem though. Men's was Out of order and they had to use the Ladies.

Luke & Leon are very friendly and well organised hosts. They made our Wedding Day a very memorable one indeed! Beautiful green gardens, grounds are well kept and tidy and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. Food is top class and staff a pleasure to interact with. The Cottage accommodation is spacious, modern yet rustic and well kitted.Definitely recommend them!!!
