Was great staying at Penelope's. The room was like a boutique hotel! Coffee in the morning on the private balcony with the mountain view was worth 6 stars alone! Very conveniently situated, especially if you want to run/hike the Stellenbosch trails.

Very friendly host and extremely accommodating. Stayed one night and had a good rest. The bed is comfortable, and area is quiet. Breakfast was good and parking was behind locked gate overnight.

We stumbled upon Penelope's guesthouse by chance while arriving spontaneously in Stellenbosch. We were so very lucky! The property is beautiful and very well appointed. Penelope is lovely and guided us to the best places in the area for wine tasting, sightseeing and fine dining. Warmly recommended! Thanks Penelope.

A hidden gem in the surroundings of Stellenbosch This guest house managed by Penelope and her husband is a small oasis in the beautiful Stellenbosch area. A simple place, but where every detail is accounted for. I’d totally visit again!

We enjoyed our stay of 5 nights , the room was spacious and light so it was nice to spend time there. We also enjoyed the balcony. It was also very clean! there was not a single dust to be found, the maids work hard everyday to make you arrive in a clean neat room. The pool was actually good maintained and lovely for a swim, this is something we did not see at other guesthouses. pool beds also very comfy. Last but not least: Penelope is very sweet and caring and wants your stay to be very comfortable !

I arrived for a long term rental over a cold Cape Winter and was greeted with a warmth and friendliness that host Penelope has in abundance. No load shedding woes. Full wifi. Secure parking. So conveniently close to Stellies and shops and endless walks to enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, thank you Penelope.

A lovely guesthouse, very close to Techno Park, where I was attending a conference. Spacious, well appointed rooms, almost completely off grid, so immune from loadshedding. The house is plumbed from a spring, and has the most invigorating spring water coursing from the taps. It makes for the most delicious tea. Breakfasts are highly recommended. Penelope is a wonderful conversationalist, and Bella, the puppy, is good for the soul. Treat yourself and spend time in the garden, a treasure trove of flowers and sunbirds.

Penelope is an amazing host, I would highly recommend staying here, I would definitely come back.

This a wonderful personalized home where Penny makes you fell right at home. First time we’ve stayed there but most certainly not the last, true hospitality, Eastern cape style.

Great spot in Stellenbosch. Near the golf course and not far from the cbd. The room are elegantly decorated and has a great feel. It is well priced and is run by its owner. I have no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

We loved our stay at Penelope's house. She is a perfect host. The rooms are very lovely, with Nespresso machine, balcony etc. The breakfast is fantastic. You can go everywhere with Uber in Stellenbosch.
