My boyfriend and I walk past this restaurant quite often as I live right down the road. We have always been intrigued by the menu and finally decided to go here for breakfast. I ordered the "tower" of flapjacks with extra bacon and he ordered the French toast but we were highly dissapointed once our food arrived as my boyfriend isn't a fan of rye bread and the menu hadn't stated that the French toast was made from rye bread. And as for my tower of flapjacks I really hope you understand my dissapointment through these images..

My family visited for brunch during loadshedding. The waiter informed us that they couldn't make any hot drinks or smoothies, except filter coffee and cooldrinks. They also told us they were still able to make everything on the breakfast menu. We waited 45 minutes for bagels, an omelet and a toasted sandwich, while being the only customers. Refer to the unappetizing photo of the bagel I received. The toasted sandwich bread had been toasted before loadshedding and was cold. When we complained that this food was disappointing, the chef came out to yell at us that loadshedding was the reason for the food not being toasted. Loadshedding doesn't excuse a 45 minute wait, or that sad bagel.

We went for lunch and enjoyed it very much at the Mill Coffee house. We each had a panini with a smoothie. It was very tasty and very filling. The service was excellent. The Mill House is also part of the Entertainer App where you get 2 meals for the price of one by subscribing to the App. We shall definitely visit again.

Happened during Sunday late morning brunch time. Waited over 15 minutes to be acknowledged or seated (no other queue). Wait staff gave no indication that they were aware that we were waiting to be seated while they were busy with other customers. All wait staff were walking around the restaurant and in the kitchen with no masks. Will never return.

Cool little coffee shop they opens early, serves a huge variety of breakfasts and makes a decent flat white. It caters really well for vegans and is one of the few places in Th e town that makes a decent Buddha bowl. The low carb options are loaded so enjoy.

Reminds me so much of the cafe's in Portugal. Roar and authentic.... Definitely heading back there soon.

Food was average at best, considering how overpriced it was. Our waiter didn't look too enthusiastic about their job, although they were quick and we didn't have to wait long for our orders.

Incredibly slow service. Had to make a huge effort to get served. Then Despite repeatedly warning them that we had to leave and could they hurry up, we waited 45 mins for two bagels. Food was OK, great they have banting options, but not worth the terrible service. Cafe was full of people complaining about slow service.

I didn't want a specific raw juice, so asked for a Mango juice. It cost me R70. Appreciate they accommodated me, but sjoe. The flap jacks are 3 biscuit sized crunchy kid size portion. A null of R235 for 2 juices, a wrap and 3 tiny Marie biscuit size flap jacks. Would not recommend!

Allways drove past and wanted yo try this place. Food not appetising and for what arrived overpriced. Service was ok but half an hour before vlosing the staff was more interested getting ready yo close up than serving. Sorry but will not return.

Excellent choice of takeaway food during Lockdown, other times enjoy their sit down option. Pizza, coffee and a great range of Keto snacks. Soup in winter too, all available as takeaway ! Bring extra cash, you will be taking more home than expected! Well worth a visit.

Loved my breakfast (business brekkie) Just enough for me. Hot turmeric milkshake was divine.

Lovely cosy coffee house with excellent coffee and friendly service.

Now this was my go to place after each ride. The options of vegan, banting and just the normal is a breath of fresh air and not only that... the food is fabulous. Staff so friendly as well. Such an amazing experience

Impressed with how the bagels tasted. Very fresh and soft. It’s a must have. The service is also good.

Our order took so long that we had to ask for a takeaway. My son’s flapjacks were hard. My husband’s bagel was so inedible that he couldn’t eat it after the first bite. I ordered a Banting muesli and ended up with a fruit salad and yogurt.

Visited this restaurant on 21/11/2023. Good cappucino. Delicious fresh chocolate croissants. But above all, fast en friendly service.
