We stopped by this place because we heard of the fabulous playground for the children there. And we weren't disappointed! There is a huge jungle gym and play area outside the coffee shop with lush green lawns and lots of space to run around or play ball games. The seating area is basically right next to the playground and lucky they put up some shade. We went there on a super hot day and were happy to relax in the shade. The kids had fun on the swing and jungle gym and they even found a toy box with additional things to keep them entertained and happy on such a hot day. The coffee shop is a self-service establishment, so you will have to order inside. But this is not an inconvenience at all and there is lots of things to choose from. They serve burgers, salads, pizzas, toasties and a kiddies menu as well as pastries and cakes. We can definitely recommend this place even if you go there without your bike. But if you do, you and the kids can also enjoy a bike track and kiddies track.

So lovely to just pop in during my lunch break to take in the natural calm surrounds and amazing food. My latest favourite is the crispy chicken wrap with salad. Totally aweaome

We were able to rent two excellent mountain e-bikes to get into Jonkershoek Nature Reserve for the day. Very nice, kind and accommodating people. The e-bikes got us to the very top, 500 m. elevation. Plenty of battery left after 4 hour ride. And what a great experience getting into the reserve! Bike rental rates were very pricey however.

A gem en route to Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. You can hire a bicycle to enjoy a stunning cycle through the nature reserve or even take on some of the well designed bike trails. After a wonderful day out you can return to enjoy some amazing food. The restaurant is kind enough to offer a vegan burger option for our earthy friends. The burgers are something to definitely consider and enjoy with a Chai late. Definitely worth enjoying with friends or the family!!

I feel sorry for people who call this place work place worst management l wish all the customers knew how the workers are treated at this place and what happens behind the back this place feels like Posmor Prison. What they know is to use people....what kind of work place where workers don't even get pay slips they can't even express their feelings in short this place is hell covered in roses

The food was outstanding. Lovely variety. Breakfast til 12h30 and lunch from 11, so take tour pick. Beautiful gardens, plenty of parking. Place your order and pay and food is brought to you. Great experience overall. Thanks folks.

Beautiful place, birds everywhere, idyllic. pigs & cows. It's a place to stay for mountain bikers who want to rude the trails about 2k away. Fantastic views of the mountains. but what really makes it 5 stars is the coffee shop opening at 730. It's everything you need for your mt bike excursion or a weekend retreat. Accommodations are very well appointed. Bring your own spandex & bike helmet. Note that it is not walkable to Stellenbosch - but you can ride into town.

Though I don't actually use Ride in for bike rides as I am a walker. Ride-in is one of my favourite places in my home town of Stellenbosch situated on one of the most beautiful roads in our town. 1. You cannot beat the setting as it is surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and scenery. 2. On Friday and Saturday evenings they make the most delicious crispy pizzas. I'm partial to the butternut and pumpkin seed one. 3. It is so relaxing and unpretentious. You get to watch an array of birds while sipping your flat white and maybe get to pet the scruffy pooch if you're lucky. 4. This venue is great for children's parties as they have a large play area (a little away from main cafe) dedicated to children with a jungle gym. 5. As Ride in is a place dedicated to moutain biking they also have bike hire facilties as well as showers and change rooms.

OMG, I loved this place so much. My AirBnB host suggested it and I thought she was just being biased but man it is so beautiful. It is just by the mountains, enough space for a group of people. Most importantly, Their burgers, I will never forget, they were fresh and yummy and just out of this world. The staff is very friendly and you can chill and just have drinks. What a lovely place.

Food was delicious and setting is beautiful. Rented two full suspension bikes for a day, had a great experience, the only thing is that the bikes need a little bit more maintenance, the front brakes on mine didn't really work, and the tires were quite worn.

I went here once for breakfast with a friend and it was top-notch - beautiful scenery and nice location and great French Toast. 5-star worthy! Unfortunately, I took my girlfriend here for breakfast and it was not good at all. They messed up her coffee violently, and they messed up my croissant, they did not bring knives or forks and they messed up her bacon and French toast by not bringing the bacon... it was truly terrible. 2-star worthy. But at least they apologized by giving us free grapetisers. I have still given 4 stars as maybe it was just a very terrible day in the office for them.

The prefect place to go for coffee and something yummy after a ride. Students love working there as long as they order. Bike workshop is brilliant and the most friendly service ever. Ride Inn offers so much for all ages. Really worth going to see

We sort of bend the rules somehow and drove in instead of cycle. Absolutely astonishing beauty, surrounded by lash greens and encounters with cyclists of all kinds amateurs, intermediate and professionals alike. The Bistro's farm kitchen here surprisingly delivers even better meals than one may assume. In addition, they also do Bicycle rentals, repairs and wash. Truly a Stellenbosch hidden germ. I'll stop by again at any given time.

Very nice casual place to have a coffee or something lite to eat after a lovely drive, hike or ride in Jonkerahoek. Place has a beautiful view, pet friendly and has a play park for children. Place specific caters for cyclists and also provides bike washes.
