This is a must stop location on the R304 from the N1 towards Stellenbosch. Come here for a quick coffee, a beer tasting, a family outing. Visit their nurseries, buy some flowers (even cut roses), enjoy a breakfast, brunch or lunch at the Bistro. Enjoy the shop offering a lot of things to shop for. Absolutely worthwhile stopping here.

Great lunch time meal. The air place kept the restaurant walm that was able to take off jacket on a cold day. Lacked music, but food and service was brilliant.

Amazing food, bursting with flavour and the portions are sizable as well. What a great environment too and not to mention the butchery and shop. This has become our favourite spot for my wife and I.

Had a lovely lunch at Klein Joostenberg.view is stunning and the place is very popular for picnics. I would recommend that you visit not only to eat but to buy fresh meat, deli meats and fresh bread at the Deli. Lovely place.

Joostenberg Bistro.. Muldersvlei. Lovely atmosphere. Delicious breakfast and lunch. Coffee to die for. You can buy all your nice fresh pork products in the butchery, fresh artisan breads, vegetables and fruit. Lovely gardens to walk in. A nursery. Lovely roses. Antique Shop. A lovely outing for the whole family.

Lovely Deli & Restaurant. Nice, big lawn for the kids to play on with a jungle gym & today there was even a horse 🐴 for riding. We went for cuppacino's ☕ and some cake 🍰. We had the Baked Cheescake with Berry Syrup & The Coffee Cake with Whipped Cream = both a real treat for our taste buds! The food being brought out by the waitors also look delicious. 😋 Will definitely visit again for lunch. The only negative I have is the fact that our waitress made us feel like we should order a full lunch & because we didn't we should eat and get going. This is the vibe I got which put a bit if a damper on what would otherwise have been a lovely afternoon. Also a MUST for gardeners as there are quite a variety of plants one can be in the different little nurseries surrounding the Bistro. 🌵🪴☘️🌹

Had a great lunch here. Staff was friendly and attentive ... the food was really good (as was that glass of wine). Of course, everything is just so much better with such a peaceful view. And always enjoy their shop - from the freshly baked bread to their meat.

The food is phenomenal. The best meal I have had in a very long time. Busy, so service seemed stretched but friendly and efficient. Big area for kids to run.

We visited the bistro today, only to have a scone and coffee, but instead ordered the Joosten-burger and cheesecake. I have not had a burger PERFECTLY cooked medium rare. Did not expect to have a good burger at all. The meat was cooked to perfection, aoili was yummy, desert cheesecake good and the vanilla pod ice cream was amazing. Expectations exceeded and kudos to the chef!!

Enjoyed a couple of lunches here. On first visit we were with a friend who was able to order a gluten-free meal. Second visit was with family members. Lovely food in a pleasant surrounding. Service was good from friendly staff. Did some shopping in the deli area. All in all well worth the visit.

Ok so this place, me and my to be wife visited say 4 or 5 years ago🤗. It still looks the same, from passing the garden/plans/flower sales to the breakfast restaurant 🍴. Food is excellent, especially the bacon🥓, it's so juicy. But overall, it has nice atmosphere and excellent table service 👌🏼. They will definitely see me and my then wife in the future again 😊😊😊

We came here after our hot air balloon ride and we loved it. Beautiful place, nice atmosphere, good choice of breakfast options. They also sell many goods, but we were there just for breakfast.

The family went for lunch and then an early afternoon beer at the craft brewery. The food was really good, not to mention a really pleasant setting.

So much to do at this venue for young,old and couples. We had a nice breakfast and staff was attentive and friendly. Will highly recommend Joostenberg Bistro

Carft Beer, good food, playground for children, green lawn. This place has everything you need for a good day out and kids will keep busy on their own.

Lovely views for a picnic with your family. Unfortunately the Joostenberg Bistro does not allow pets. The cappuccino was unfortunately scolding hot. A great inexpensive breakfast with great waiters.

Had a wonderful picnic lunch here on Saturday with my toddler. He loved the open space and little play park. The staff were just amazing and so helpful and food delish! :)

The snack was delicious, but the views were more breathless. Kid friendly Offers a deli and butchery for all those cured meats and more. It too has a nursery, with amazing succulents. You have access to Acrobranch from there as well. 5 star venue, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this venue gives you a view to behold

I had the beef curry. Not overly impressed. But tasty. Bit expensive at around R166? Nice atmosphere. It was a rainy. Cozy. Fire in fireplace.
