I loved the peace and quietness of the place itself and the awesome services by Benita and family. Was welcomed with open arms.

We had an incredible stay with Benita and her family. We were doing the Pilgrimage of hope and arrived drenched after a rainy day's walking. They offered us hot chocolate, had a fire going to dry our clothes and were helpful and very generous. The food was amazing! They were very knowledgeable about the town and its history. We highly recommend Lumley's place! olaackback.

Beautiful location with extremely friendly staff, delicious breakfast and great facilities inside the guesthouse. The bed was also extremely comfortable. I stayed with my partner for my 30th birthday celebrations and Benita made my stay extra special by providing me with amazing decant chocolate cupcakes upon check in. She really went above and beyond with her hospitality and I look forward to staying at the stunning Lumley's Place Guesthouse again soon. Thank you Benita and team for a wonderful stay!

Benita was such a welcoming host not only providing great, spotless and luxurious accomodation but also was being very helpful in giving us advice on what to do and see in the area. Breakfast was always an absolute treat with homemade cakes, fresh fruits and local specialities. The neighbourhood was very friendly as well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They only bad thing was that we had to leave after what felt like too short a stay.

I had nowhere to go for the launch of my Pniël collection of poems as Covid-19 restrictions hampered the venues that I normally would have chosen. After contacting Benita, she was accommodating but adamant about complying with the Covid-19 rules. I can only thank her, because the function was super successful in a perfect setting with service par excellence . Thanks a million B! I'll be eternally grateful for your contribution!!

We had a warm and welcoming stay at Lumley Place Guesthouse. Soon after booking online and confirming our booking after a short phone call, I was welcomed by the host, Benita, with a sweet Whatsapp message. "A hearty congratulations on your wedding 💑 anniversary Harriet and hubby. I was very impressed that she shared the wifi details and sent the Google maps location with us ahead of time. Overall the stay was super comfortable, the breakfast great and the beautiful mountain, back yard pool and birdlife a comfortable relaxing experience.
