We won't be back unfortunately. After being seated for about 30 minutes we still hadn't been given menus, even though the staff was right in front of us, deep in conversation. A waitress eventually comes over and asks if we're ready to order and I told her we haven't even been given a menu. The coronation chicken wrap was quite a small portion and I thought the rasberries do not compliment the meal and is a weird addition. Salad or fries with your food should be an option. The knives are so blunt, I could barely cut through a wrap and my companion could not cut through their sourdough bread. Our food was also very salty. The brownie was quite delicious. They have such a beautiful spot in town with so much potential- it should offer much more in terms of ambience and especially in their service and food. It was just disappointing, we definitely did not get value for our money.

Meraki is the most exquisite Café & Wine Bar in Stellenbosch. The staff welcome you like family, the service is excellent & the menu is out of this world! A MUST, for anyone in Stellenbosch!

Beautiful decor and an extensive variety of cakes and tarts. The waitress wasn’t the friendliest but, the iced latte was great and the baked cheesecake was satisfying. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a coffee shop that stays open a bit later on a Saturday. I will be returning to try their food.

I am so sad I only get to eat here once(due to holiday). My husband and I will definitely be back. All the flavours, the amazing coffee , great atmosphere and background music just made our experience absolutely phenomenal. We came to this place from multiple Facebook recommendations and definitely understand why this is a perfect breakfast spot. Thank you Meraki. You added extra sweetness to our mini holiday.

The menu is well thought out and offers a lot of variety. I enjoyed the Salmon Poke bowl as a refreshing lunch. The seating is quite crammed, and the tables are very small. The service was tardy, but the food made up for the wait.

The atmosphere is different from the previous meraki- not comparable at all. Both beautiful and delightful their different ways. The portion we very filling. The nachos were such a surprise; super tender meat and plentiful. The also really love the mussels- light fresh and winey. We had so many mimosas; all very delightful. Definitely coming back soon. Parking is always difficult so walking the streets of stellies is a treat!

Very clean feeling to the place. Intresting setting. The lemon merangue crousant was very nice. The hummingbird cake was very light, and sift. Intresting cake.

Gorgeous street side restaurant with a lot of light and greenery. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the banana bread) and the service was great. Would recommend :)

I liked the atmosphere and friendly service. The steak was unfortunately a big disappointment, it was very small with a spicy salsa and very salty chips, so was a very dry meal overall and I was still hungry after this meal. A steakhouse is definitely more value for money when it comes to steaks. The milkshake was also quite small for the price they charged.

Lovely little cafe with delicious breakfast. We sat outside on a rainy morning on the covered porch. I really enjoyed the plate with halloumi and quinoa, would definitely order it again.

A fantastic space for a quaint brunch experience which we visited on 11 July 2023. We were helped as we walked up the few steps to enter. We requested to be seated at a larger table as we planned to use our laptops. They were very accommodating in that respect. The open fresh trout sandwich was exceptionally tasty; and felt they could have added an extra slice of sourdough to complete the meal. We requested the chicken wrap without the guacamole; and to our surprise it still was flavoursome. Be advised; the wrap is quite substantial and filling. Tea is served in a tea pot; hence you may get a few cups out of it. They were kind enough to warm each cup for us. The machiato was slightly disappointing as it had no distinctive flavour. The service is friendly and relaxed. If you're in a rush; I would suggest an alternative place. This is more "smell the coffee and enjoy the view" kinda place. We will be back next time in Stellies to explore more of the menu.

Visited for lunch and had a Caesar Salad and Honey Iced tea, both were pleasant but nothing to write home about. Would come here again to try the breakfast or brunch menu which looked a lot more exciting than the lunch offerings.

This is a lovely space! Massive upgrade from their previous location and their service has improved as well. This restaurant interior is inviting, with nude and dusty colors giving it a premium look. The food was great but did take a long to arrive at our table. The table we had was a tiny round table, so it was a bit uncomfortable. Then the waiter was friendly and well clued up on the menu. The bathroom is oddly and inconveniently located since it is situated upstairs. But the bathroom was clean and looked very hotel-like. Overall I think it's a great space with good service.

Disappointed because they toasted (and burnt) my croissant which completely ruins the light buttery texture of the pastry and makes it squished and doughy. The filling was tasty though

Lovely place with a variety of breakfast options, both interesting and classic. The hemelskos lives up to its name.
