Absolute lovely place to stay at when visiting Stellenbosch. We were actually supposed to stay for two nights but extended for one more night. This guest house has all you could ask for. It is quiet, clean, well furnished and both the staff and owner are very welcoming and helpful. Tasty breakfast is served every morning. The guest house also has a pool. Absolute recommendation for all Stellenbosch visitors. We will definitely come back again.

I had an amazing time at Summerwood - and I will always come back. Feels like the nice villa you've dreamed of living in, and the garden is a piece of paradise. Wonderful hosts, great atmosphere and really NOTHING to complain about. Bikes available, so city centre is only a few minutes away.

I don't have superlatives for the guest house. Absolutely stunning! It truly is a home away from home. The pool area is definitely a favourite as guests spent hours lounging and swimming on a hot day. Fiona is a tremendous host and was extremely courteous and helpful. Summerwood will be the place of residence going forward when visiting Stellenbosch

Wow!!! A great experience. Summerwood Guest House is so welcoming :) We enjoyed the breakfasts on the patio, gardens, pool, and biking around the neighborhood. We will recommend this place to everyone and hope to return one day soon!

We received a warm welcome from Fiona. She was so friendly and explained things very well. The property is in a nice neighbourhood and very close to the Stellenbosch CBD. It looks stunning, well-maintained and everything feels luxurious. The room is spacious and well-put-together. The breakfast was delicious and the service from Portia was excellent. The garden and lawn is nicely manicured and equipped with hanging chairs and sunbeds by the swimming pool. The place is nice and clean, it's highly recommended.

Beautiful, clean, modern but quirky guesthouse with a historical past. Has all the modern comforts of an upmarket hotel. Friendly host Fiona was warm and welcoming. Beautifully presented. Inside secure parking. We were upgraded for our one night to beautiful views, so happy to return on our next visit to see our son.

An elegant and stylish guest house with excellent attention to detail a wonderful quirkiness to release one from the stiffness and awkwardness of many other places. Floppy and Mopsy and Peter Rabbit run freely around the garden with their delightful family. The hosts are really engaging and down to earth a d very accommodating. Rooms are superbly comfortable and stylish. The breakfast is the best you will find anywhere. Gourmet ! I will never stay in any other guest again in Stellenbosch.

Being guest in Summerwood is a pleasure. A quiet, tasteful oasis in Stellenbosch. In walking distance of Stellenbosch centre, with pool and cozy garden to relax, just perfect. Our garden view room with terrace, just very nice to stay in. The included breakfast, à la carte, with just in time made speciliaties, is superior to any hotelbuffet. Fiona and her team are very friendly, forecoming and helpful. We can highly recommend Summerwood guesthouse.
