am
appalled
by
the
service
I
received
at
Stellenbosch
Superspar
on
Helshoogte
.
Last
night
I
bought
flowers
for
mother's
day
in
order
to
avoid
disappointment
on
the
day.
This
morning,
my
flowers
had
wilted
so
I
phoned
Spar
and
requested
to
speak
to
the
manager.
The
lady
whom
I
originally
spoke
to
said
that
the
manager
mentioned
they
don't
do
returns
on
flowers.
(
I
bought
these
less
than
24
hours
ago).
I
then
went
into
Spar
with
my
slip
and
the
dead
flowers
and
explained
my
story
to
Johan,
the
assistant
manager.
He
said
he
cannot
assist
me
and
that
I
need
to
speak
to
the
other
manager
who's
not
present.
I
then
proceeded
to
tell
him
that
I
cannot
as
Mother's
day
is
today.
He
then
accused
me
and
said
I
didn't
water
the
flowers
because
otherwise
they
wouldn't
look
the
way
they
do
and
asked
me
where
the
other
ones
are.
I
then
told
him
that
I
didn't
bring
the
whole
bunch
as
I
wouldn't
have
ANYTHING
to
give
my
mother
on
Mother's
day.
He
told
me
to
go
to
the
back
with
him
to
take
my
detailed
down
and
I
still
never
received
any
sort
of
compensation.
He
made
the
case
worse
by
saying
it's
my
fault
that
the
flowers
look
the
way
they
so
and
he
can't
lose
his
job
over
this
and
that
WOOLWORTHS
is
the
only
shop
where
they
return
flowers
as
they
die
quickly
and
not
Spar.
I
have
often
bought
flowers
from
Woolworths
and
they
have
the
best
quality
products.
I
am
not
upset
about
the
fact
that
I
was
inconvenienced.
I
am
upset
about
the
fact
that
I
was
accused
and
at
the
poor
/atrocious
service
I
received.
Not
once
did
I
get
an
apology,
instead
I
got
told
over
and
over
that
the
problem
lies
with
me,
even
when
I
brought
the
slip
AND
flowers
back
to
the
store.
A
manager
like
Johan
damages
the
image
of
Helshoogte
Superspar
and
that
on
a
day
where
Mothers
are
supposed
to
be
celebrated.
Never
in
my
life
have
I
received
such
terrible
service
in
South
Africa.
