🫤 I am a big fan of Saggy Stone beer and have also visited the Saggy Stone brewery in Robertson, so I was very excited to hear about the new Saggy Stone Winelands that opened. Their location is great, most of the seating area is outside under cover with big trees surrounding you as well as a kids play... People often mention good, area, kids, amazing, Saggy, beer, Stone, play, nice, service,

I am a big fan of Saggy Stone beer and have also visited the Saggy Stone brewery in Robertson, so I was very excited to hear about the new Saggy Stone Winelands that opened. Their location is great, most of the seating area is outside under cover with big trees surrounding you as well as a kids play area within view of the tables so also a very good option for parents with kids. They have the bar area if you just want to pop by for a drink, as well as the restaurant where you can sit down and enjoy some food. When we visited it was a nice hot day, there was a live band playing (who were very good) and the restaurant was busy so there was a nice energetic atmosphere. We had some of their beers and my wife and I shared a pizza which was delicious. Everything was good, but unfortunately their service completely let them down. Overall our waitress was friendly, but there were some issues. Two of the people in our group ordered brandy and cokes, but when they received their drinks there was no brandy in it (we then couldn't find our waitress and they quickly went to the bar area where the drinks were replaced). Later another person in our group asked for a Castle Free beer whereby the waitress responded that they had ran out. My friend then went straight to the bar where there were more than enough available. We then decided to close the bill (which also took a while as the waitress struggled with processing the payments) and we continued to buy drinks from the bar. I am not sure if it was the waitresses fault or a training issue, but it was not what I was expecting at all. I will however be going back there as I do think they have good food and beer and deserve a better rating, if they can sort out the service.

Since the pandemic we prefer outdoor places. Saggy stone is one of our "go to" places in this regard. They have by the following on offer: Little outdoor park for the kids to play (Bring their bicycles as well as there is a small bike path) On occasion there are pony/horse rides available at about R30 (I stand corrected) They have awesome food ( individual dishes or sharing options like pizza etc) They have live music on certain days. The best part is that it's not feel entirely full due to the spacious layout.

Very wide range of craft beers on offer and each of them are very good. With a festive, yet laid back atmosphere paired with good food, makes this restaurant perfect for a good time with friends and family or just a nice day out to blow off some steam.

The Manager sat drinking with his friends and girlfriend, didn't check up on any tables, he allowed his friends to smoke at the table with kids all around and while everyone was eating, all we could taste was cigarettes and pipe. Our waiter was absolutely amazing. Beer is really good. Food was average at best. We will never be back and will not recommend to anyone.

Eisbein was awesome. Atmosphere was phenomenal. As bonus points I got to choose the only table that had a cat on it. The weather was horrible but it worth being there. Will 100% go again.

Saggy Stone is a beautiful place to hang out with your loved ones or for a good day out. They have a wide selection of craft beers to choose from, great food and live entertainment on weekends. I would definitely recommend them to people of all ages.

First time visitors and will definitely be going back, most of the seating is outside under the trees, looking out over beautiful mountains. A casual atmosphere, live music in the afternoons, different specials everyday of the week. Small menu, but nice and fresh food. We had the full farmhouse breakfast, delish, can't wait to go back to try out amazing smelling pizza's. Craft beer on offer as well

GREAT! Safe play area for kids. Very well priced food and beer. Love it. There is even a horse ride for the kids. If you take your toddler, remember to take their bike with.

Man this was the best spot to go to on a Sunday afternoon. Had the best apple cider there. The lunch was excellent and there were live entertainment from a guy called Bryan Tennant. He opened with a Scottish bag pipe and sang well. Would definitely recommend this for family outing.

Nice outdoor seating, with beautiful scenery from horses to mountains. Menu is not to big on choices, but what they present is enjoyable. Prices are reasonable. They do have a outside play area for children. Was a relaxing afternoon, okay food, okay prices and good service.

Quaint place. Great food, awesome music. Family Friendly. While the adults have fun, kids play area, or they can ride the horses. Great to just relax and unwind. Definitely, a must.

Lovely setting perfect for small children to roam free. Lovely outside tables under trees or under shaded area. The food was delicious but it took very long to arrive. The venue wasn’t even half full but the kitchen could not handle the orders. We waited at least 45 minutes. The waiter was friendly and qualified but it seemed that they were also under staffed. The drinks took forever too.

Waited long for our food. Chicken fillets on the burgers were cold. Now that I've been here, not what I expected. Below average. LOL at the coleslaw that accompanied the burger.

The food was amazing, my man loved the dark horse lager which was out of stock this time unfortunately, thankfully they have a great selection of beers and wine. I love the vibe and will definitely be back. I had the Eisbein, the portion was huge and was delicious.

Perfect, Peaceful and Picturesque. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. Cobus was an excellent host. We will definitely be back.

We went for lunch and the food was really good. Not a single dish was disappointing. We had beer rings, samosas, German hot dogs, and eisbein. All in all it was very enjoyable - thank you.

What a disappointing lunch outing at KoelOakes Saggy Stone. The plants at entrance are dead, which sets the tone for your visit. The grass around you is baked brown and dry. Three dog poos within 5 to 10 steps of our restaurant table, including one right in front of the kids jumping castle. Definitely not today dog poos, but yesterday's or earlier. Inside area is so sad and dreary, with filthy couches inside covered in bird poo and old electricity wires. Around a thoroughly broken coffee table, which looks past its due date for a drop off at the dump. The entrance hall console is dirty, and broken. You walk over exposed electric wires en route to the bathroom. Kids jungle gym has a broken swing and one strung up with different length rope. It is in dire need of a paint. Just a sad experience. From a brand we are so fond of, and have exceptional memories from regular outings to the original in Nuy. This is definitely nothing like what we would have expected. Such potential, but just all round sad negligence. Pizza and burger were good, but ruined by the dog feaces around us. Kind wait staff.
