Absolutely great place to take the kids or your pets. There are big fields, woods, hills, summer adventure climbing, sailing and a secure gated family paddling area. A big lake to do sailing in, plus fishing with a license. A second big duck pond. There is a fitness running track with obstacles every so often. The cafe has toilets, hot and cold drinks, food and ice-cream. Near the cafe is a kids obstacle course. Lots of carparks with lots of space. Great place to just walk or sit, as you watch the world go by.

Beautiful place to just walk, sit, play, meditate. Cafe is really reasonable prices, toilets clean. Dog friendly and wonderful play areas for children.

Do plan a visit here if u want a good family outing. Lot of kids activities. Good soft play area. Ducks keep toddlers busy. A good sunny day would be perfect.

Excellent park, it's well managed by the council. Very clean and tidy. Well worth the visit.

Great park. Nice swings and cafe . Also has a splash pool in the summer.

A good place to park with convenient and quick access to the main boating lake. It can get rather busy on weekends or warm sunny days but there are other locations around the periphery of the park. This particular car park is currently undergoing some re-surfacing work (Jan 2024) so places are limited until complete.

Free parking by the park with plenty of spaces - certainly early in the morning. Fairlands Valley Park is great. Very pretty, good facilities (playground, cafe, toilets, more). What's not to love.
