Have visited here many times over the past few years, both at night and during the day. They have a good range of beers in terms of variety of styles. The quality is also solid. They didn’t originally offer 1/3 pours but they do now and I appreciate that. There is food available onsite although I haven’t tried it. There’s loads of seating both inside and out - I’ve never been here and not found a place to sit. Service tends to be friendly and attentive. No complaints really. Definitely worth a visit.

A great taproom with a lovely indoor and outdoor seating area. I had a pint of the hazy IPA which at 3.8% wad packed full of flavour. Thoroughly recommended. @MyBucketListAt60

Awesome taproom that hasn’t lost any of its authentic charm. Great range of their own beers on tap and long tables running the length of the room for everyone to be friends. Outdoor area out front is a good late afternoon sun trap.

My boyfriend and I both love sour beer, we tried so many different bars. Howling Hops Brewery offers great sour beer at a very friendly price (£5.9 a pint). This bar tend not to be over packed, which is also a bonus. Their food menu looks very tasty, although we didn't order food. Would definately come back again.

Really impressed on our recent weekday lunchtime visit. Sat in the suntrap beer garden enjoying the excellent tank-fresh beer, particularly the Secret Hotel rye pale ale. The Sri Lankan street food, with vegan options, was delicious and great value, with a half pint included for a tenner. Service warm and child-friendly. Vinyl-only DJs add to the cool vibe on weekend evenings. Will definitely return!

Food - Colombian vegan dishes by Maize Blaze were crazy delicious. Beer - fantastic range and fresh as it could be. Service friendly, speedy and approachable. Atmosphere - welcoming and vibrant. Thanks guys

First time here and I had a great experience. Friendly and efficient staff, great music and even better beer 🍺 You get your drinks in no time and don't have to queue for ages even when the bar is at full capacity. Sat outdoors initially before moving inside at sunset. Would recommend for Saturday day/night drinks. Can't describe how lively the atmosphere is, you just have to experience it for yourself ✨

Really great trendy brewery that produces excellent beers - we tried six of them. It's a special location with a real warehouse vibe and the beers come out of these great tanks which look fantastic. The service is really friendly and helpful. The food menu is interesting and the pricing is fair. We had the brisket burgers with gherkins on the side, and everything was well made and tasty. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was that the beers are served in 2/3 of a pint, not sure why this is needed, what's wrong with the standard pint? Other than that, it's a great pub/brewery.

Despite not eating meat, a blond guy serving me dismissively gave me the meat version of the meal I had ordered. I was so hungry I didn’t notice immediately. He was also rude when he came to check payment. I rarely post reviews, but I felt that the service from him was so bad that I felt it necessary to post this. The guy who served me was coarse and unapologetic. This is unacceptable as both a minimum standard of service and attention to detail. I am very disappointed and hope the staff make corrections so as not to ruin further experiences.

This is the best tank bar I've ever been to. They usually serve the beers in proper glassware, but when WestHam plays at the nearby stadium, they have to bring out the plastic. But the beer still taste amazing. I don't think I've ever had a beer I didn't enjoy from Howling Hops. Their food offering is also quite good, and their servings are huge.

Great craft beers, excellent service and relaxed vibe but unfortunately i just don’t like the food. Ordered mutton and chicken boxes and really not sure what is going on there. Will definitely return no doubt but will skip food

Ten stainless steel sentinels greet you as you walk into the room - their belly’s full to the brim with the finest of drinks, their undercarriages leaking. Here amongst these weathered walls we supped upon the sourest of drinks - the sharp tang cutting through the fog of our thoughts to fetch for us profound truths. It is here that dreams become reality and love is infinite, like Pythagoras, around this wooden circle table.

Amazing beer and the Kottu House street food was awesome. A unique experience and the staff are superb. Btw the Hot Shot pale ale was historic.

Good selection of beers with some fairly unique offerings. The staff carry a bit of an attitude but it's more on the eccentric side than rude and adds a bit of character. The place feels a bit commercial lacking a sense of originality but the beer is good, the food decent & it's well worth a visit.

First time here, great knowledge of the beers from the staff, didn't try any food but looked good. 2 hours before kick off so not very busy, but I've walked past after the match and it's buzzing

The beer was fantastic but the guy that was serving us didn’t seem like he wanted to be there! Ignored us for a bit and then when actually served us didn’t seem to care. Would come back for the beer but hope someone else served :)

Always love it here. Such a good atmosphere and top notch 5 star beers. Served as fresh as possible from the tank. Food options have always been good, used to be a smoke House, then soul food (brisket burgers etc), then Maize Blaze Colombian food came along however they've just given way to Kottu House who serve Sri-lanken food. For anyone even remotely interested in craft this is the place to come! The posers go to Crate, the people in the know come here.

Good place to go and chill, I tried for the first time Sri Lankan food and I was amazed by the flavours of the Mutton Kottu, I added an egg as recommended by the chef, just brilliant! Good selection of Draught and Ale and a great service ! Definitely recommend and definitely going back to try more from the menu.
