Dropped my daughter off as she works in one of the shops there and thought I'd pop into B&M to get some tea bags. As usual I ended up spending loads more than intended as I always find so many bargains in there. Great shop!

A spread out shopping area. Although some re-generation has taken place it hasn't changed much. However, the bus/transport interchange has had a lot of investment recently and will soon be up and working. Looking forward, the town will soon be remodeled and is about to look very different.

Handily placed town centre shopping ...but the parking prices are off putting. Everybody goes for the free parking in Tesco but last Saturday for example it took 1/2 an hour to get out of the car park ...that's why people are voting with there feet( cars) and like me driving elsewhere.

Going to miss b and m, and home bargains but still loving pound land and primark

  • 1/5 Brenda A. 10 months ago on Google
Nothing there& considering they are going to demolish it,its the best news yet

  • 3/5 Katie W. 1 year ago on Google
B&m and home bargains have shut down so less shops. You have to pay to park for not that much.

  • 4/5 Lloyd D. 1 year ago on Google
Quite a few empty shops especially towards the end. Many have recently closed. The main Tesco store is probably the biggest one in that area. There are a few clothing stores as well. The B&M store has closed as well.

Good enough. The hotel there is very obviously rough which means some undesirables

Weird places ended up in the car park parked on them ground floor and couldn't find the shops! It's more obvious on higher floors. Ground floors cast park seems to have several islands had to go up and down again to go between them. Shops were ok nothing special.

It's your typical New Town shopping centre with a variety of shops. Most popular seems to be Primark and Wilkos, Next and Sports Direct. There are also several places to grab something to eat or drink ranging from small 'greasy spoons' to McDonald's, Greg's, and Subway. Unfortunately there are several unoccupied premises, probably down to Covid fallout. It's an OK but average shopping centre.

I always love it. Just pop in to the subway in Stevenage for tasty baguette. Thd staff is very polite and helpful.

Stevenage Town is so shabby now, while the Council spends on high rise flats and buildings that should be on an industrial site, such as the Science" building opposite swimming pool. What an eyesore - as is the Station multi storey car park.

Bit run down. But fair few shops. The entertainer us full of a bunch of no-brainers though

Loads of shops and places to eat. Paid parking available, I would advise to avoid parking outside the paid parking area as parking wardens are heavily on patrol. There is a nearby Tesco that offers free parking for the first 30 mins.

I recently visited The Forum in Stevenage and was utterly disappointed with the parking situation. No free parking at all which is incredibly inconvenient for short visits. The parking charges are exorbitant. I was shocked to find myself paying £2 for just 3 minutes on a Saturday evening. The complete absence of free parking time and the ridiculous charges make for a frustrating experience. It's a significant deterrent to visiting again.

For a big Newtown shopping centre Stevenage Forum is unfortunately very average. The whole area however is scheduled for redevelopment so I hope it will improve and attract a wider variety of retailers

It's a shame alot of the shops are closing down and also needs patrolling to stop the local idiots making it an unsociable place to walk through, especially when it is supposed to be the heart of the town centre.

It's changed so much in this town.. sadly . Needs more interesting shops here .

For being a half term holiday, the town centre was absolutely dead, even though it was mid morning!

Not an amazing range of shops inside, but better outside. Lots of undesirable types of people hanging around so keep your belongings close by.

This place needs to be done up. It's been the same for years. Some nice shops, but some right run down pop up ones too.

  • 5/5 Scott O. 2 years ago on Google
Improvements in town centre are good. Need to get more retailers in the town as shops are starting to stay empty. More work to do.

So sad to see so many shops empty. So much money being spent on a ghost town. Frankly getting embarrassing. The council should be encouraging new business with financial incentives

Standard 1970s style shopping "experience." No redeeming features, happens to be en route between the brilliant David's Book/ Music shop, and the equally great Esquires coffee shop

Situated near the market and not far from the bus stop or car parking. Love Hitchin nice market town to visit . Lots of excellent restaurants and shops .

Great variety of shops and plenty of parking. However, the shopping centre is really dated, so hopefully all the building work will transform the place for the better.

I had visited tk maxx first time and leaving car park at 7pm I couldn't pay my parking fee and the staff member shouted at me to goto paystation and with further help request, this person seemed very annoyed and irritated voice. Not a pleasant shopping experience!!

Havbeen here in a while , it now looks really run down and poor. Very disappointed, west gate is no longer what it used to be it all needs a lot of investment. Ive given one star only because you can't give half, correct me if I'm wrong!!

Stevenage town centre, although in some parts it can be a little worn and weathered has improved over the years and seems to continue improving. The people of Stevenage are something to be said for, but the place it self can be very pleasent.

A bit shabby but plenty of shops to choose from. Parking was £5.5 for under 2 hours so won't bother going back and spending hundreds of pounds again. Hello Internet shopping

Good facility, good parking but a bit of a ghost town - town planners need to think k outside the box and support small business ventures

  • 3/5 Lynne P. 1 year ago on Google
Picked up a parcel from Next. Considering it was about 9.30 in the morning I was shocked at how filthy this store was. The doors were covered in grimey fingerprints and the floor hadn't been swept or cleaned in days. The whole Forum area was poorly maintained and down at heel.

Not a lot to see here. Iceland now a foreign foodstore, another one, only Tesco at this end of the town.

Looking a bit faded . Needa a face lift. Stevenage town centre needs generating . Disappointed.

  • 4/5 Mariusz R. 2 years ago on Google
Few shops with touristic staff. Many fast foods, cinema. Lift for disabled people. Big parking but very busy and not for free. Galeria is in impressive structure.

The doors to the shop by the hotel are never open now Why don t thay put plastic up at all the window s to stop them looking like thay are openable/ working if that are not interested to used now and move the sandwich drinks and papers up the other end . it is not good if you work it the town centre if you get a 30 min brake and you have to walk the length of shop 3 times before you can have a sandwich
