Went to the family fun swim on a Saturday. It was a good price but that was it. They were late opening. The changing rooms were filthy. The ‘fun swim’ included a few worn out floats and that was it. Nothing in the baby pool you were not allowed to use the baby toys. The main racing float was only allowed 1 person at a time. The staff were very trigger happy with whistle blowing at everyone for anything. Save your money and go elsewhere, we certainly won’t be coming back.

Clean and tidy swimming pool, showers and communal changing rooms with lockers. Three pool areas, baby middle and deep. Average swimming pool nothing special. Not sure the new addition of a grab machine and coin operated ride on since Everyone Active took over, in the changing room really fits

Tired & run down. Disabled changing/shower room is a discrace! Not fit for purpose. No proper shower head just a nozzle which is difficult to aim. And what on earth are all those coat hooks about?! Should have a proper vented seat under the shower, not a plank of formica along the side wall. Which, is not level and water runs down it to where you sit & wets everything!

A bit dated but otherwise is good. If you want a nice swim book at lane swimming times. The pool is quite big and lots of space, can book online and all the staff are friendly. Reasonably priced. Even have a small spa area that you can use at extra cost, has a steam room, relaxation room and waterfall showers

Recent changes divide a lot of people. Pricing is still reasonable but the facilities need a major upgrade and the widely displayed list of “Do nots” is very off-putting. Best thing is the swimming courses for kids as e have seen tremendous development in our children from a number of different teachers.

Great if you are a kid with school or doing lessons. Public swimming is a joke, most days you get a quarter of one pool and the kids will often swim both sides and if the divers are there they will swim your side and go underneath you. This place has a timetable but the lifeguards never follow it, most days you will see that two pools should be opened but the lifeguard only ever open the deep pool. They defiantly have the staff to open the other pools because you can see them doing nothing else. Also most days when public has a quarter of the pool you will often find it has way to many people in. They need to open the other pools and follow the timetable. The spa is ok, but often it doesnt work and some of the features have not worked for years. Pre covid.

Pool was a bit too cold compared to other local pools. The changing rooms could do with refurbishment as they were looking a bit grotty. Staff were lovely though.

Sadly the pool was dirty with some sort of mould on the dividing boom and also visible on the ceiling and in other locations. Staff were nice and helpful tho.

Old, a bit grim, changing rooms stink of urine. Actual pools a bit old and mouldy. Shower glass completely mouldy. Just generally shoddy

Brilliant I was going here dreading it after what I have heard but to be honest it was really good 👍 we had fun the changing room are a good size (me and my daughter was able to change comfortably I’m a size 18 & she is 8 ) prices are reasonable too.

We've been travelling to Stevenage pool for the past few months rather than going to out local pool in Hatfield. The staff are always pleasant. It's a little tired but I read the changing area is due to be refurbished soon.

Clean. Good showers. Baby seats in the toilets. Pool could be a little warmer for the kids. But great all round. Nice simple kids pool.

My son attends his swimming class here, and the place is family friendly.

Peaceful late afternoon swim with a child. Not many visitors at 3pm onwards. Shame the floats aren't given out at this time though

I attend the aquasize here each week . Swimming pool is in dire need of modernisation. But the staff are friendly and the class is great fun

Swimming pool itself isn't too bad but the changing facilities are a bit ropey, half the showers are usually not working and the fact that you can still only have 1 hour to swim (introduced due to covid) for the same cost as the unlimited swimming you had previously is a bit of a con.

Taken my daughter here a few times and its usually OK. Today though there were teenagers in the baby pool throwing balls and diving around and yet the lifeguards didn't care. We still had an alright swim but when we were changing afterwards some dirtbag teenager decided it was best to urinate in his changing room which then just flowed into ours! Meaning we had to finish getting changed avoiding the urine stream and it stank! Told reception and they just said "Ok". No apology or "we'll sort it" etc. Will probably go to Letchworth next time.

Really nice, great fun, helpful staff, nice and clean, lovely warm baby pool, loads of space, fun inflatable obstacle session on a Saturday. Good showers and facilities. Loved it.

Freezing Cold and dirty pool which gave my 8month old pink eye. Changing rooms are dirty and grimey and staff are rude and abrupt. I do not recommend.
