I bought one laptop in this shop ,day later i went to change it will another laptop with more gb di ram and better prosesor .When i went to change it the manager of this shop told me i can't change it . Stay way from this person and this shop He was so rude ,the worst person i have seen in my life I don't recommend to anyone this store specifically the manager a very bad person and very rude .Anyway i went at another argos and they change it straight away

Item I ordered didn't arrive for some reason , staff just cancelled my order. No attempt of reordering, i been told to order it again. Calling customer service pointless twice just disconnect me after 20 minutes wait. Live chat same " you are talking to wrong department". Thanks for service like that 👎 god bless Amazon!

The fact that the staff had to be told to serve customers on click and collect rather than them using their own initiative. Stood waiting while members of staff just pretended we weren’t there

Very rude girls at reception. Told us if we didn't sign in as a new customer online, we should buy our £700 new TV elsewhere. We were ready to buy and order it there and then. But apparently it's getting harder and harder to want to spend your money. No wonder they went bust 😅

The experience was really poor. Stock manager (JOSH) was using his iPhone plus!!! when we went to customer crevice desk for extension for our child safety gate. We didn’t want any refund at any point. But the extension was out of stock in store and warehouse. So decided to get exchange where we were advised by stock manager Josh that there are 2 sticker missing so he will not exchange this or refund. We thought for £16.99 no point an argue. Then we went back again to the desk to buy a new item and his customer service manager came to serve us and explained he would have exchanged it but cannot do it now as the stock manager said no even to it’s just a small sticker. Asked to speak to store manager and told manager is on day off. Asked to speak to josh was explained he had gone on his break. We all work in retail or non retail where everyone understand the simple principle of customer service. I was shocked to see this today. I went to Argos next to were I work and given a full refund without any question asked!!!

Walked into the store to pick up a TV stand. The two Ladies and one gentleman were very helpful in helping me navigate out of the store with such a heavy item. 10/10 service. Thank you guys!

Ordered an item for click and collect as the store was closed due to lockdown. Turned up to a small queue outside which went down very quickly. They take your order number at the door so you don't have to go inside, then bring the item to the door for you. It was a really well planned out safe service that was quite quick. Very good.

Store is click and collect only. Covid restrictions are in place. I ordered on line and received a confirmation for collect within 10 mins. Collected later that day (3pm) . Plenty of parking and a short walk to the store. No queue and was served instantly for very friendly staff. No problems whatsoever with the ordering and collection. 5 star service

Very nice people work here, i especially love the click and collect for ebay which has served well for safe deliveries.

Visited roaring meg branch about 6pm tonight to grab a couple of presents for grandsons. I needed assistance as i was getting same present for both and didnt want to get pink version. Very pleasant, helpful young lady. I did really want 2 different colours but she made checks for me, didnt have them there and she offered different options for me. I chose to have same colour, paid and left. Was very pleased to be met with a smile and she really did want to help. Pity i didnt get her name. But a credit to her parents and Argos. 5 star service

I dont normally write reviews but today i came to collect an item, and the lady on the counter was too busy talking. Eventually after 10 minutes of waiting, I got served. Guys my advice to you is to act professional and show a bit of awareness around you.

A big thank you to Donna at this branch for sorting out my product exchange this afternoon. Product faulty and no stock in branch to exchange for, but she sourced a replacement in a nearby branch. Quick, efficient, polite and nothing was too much trouble 👏🏻

Had a horrendous experience here with the manager Dave. Being going to Argos for over 30 years and never experienced any manager as incompetent, unprofessional, lazy and as disinterested in customers as him. Bought a steamer a week ago for my wife with an intermittent fault with it powering on. He plugged it in, turned it on a couple of times and said "I can't do anything as it's on", handed it back to me and walked off. Never even offered to send it to the manufacturer as a bare minimum, exchange, or refund this £25 item. Went to the Hitchin branch straight away and they exchanged it immediately. He clearly was either on a power trip in front of his staff or just looking for a quiet Sunday but this scruffy looking so called manager needs to be retrained as he's an embarrassment to the company. Complaint filed.
