Always quieter in here. Staff polite and rarely any queues. Worth paying a little more than treking around ASDA with the great unwashed and job dodgers. My go to supermarket.

That’s the one!!! Extremely good in all aspects! Great parking , never so busy, possible to find parking all the time,of course in rush hours can be bit crowded but still ok. A huge variety of food, clothes, household like all the big supermarket normally has. Always offers, easy to walk around, all the place tidy and clean, shelves organised. The staff very professionals, all smiling and please to help. The cashiers very efficient also quick. Possible to go by bus from the bus station you can get Bus number 1 it’s gonna take 25 minutes. Fantastic bakery, fresh bagels all day.

Hmmm. "Taste the Difference".. Nice soft bread with interesting seeds and grains. Shame it could have been better kneaded to eliminate a huge air pocket in over 6 slices of the loaf 🍞

Nice clothes for a super market, the store is a bit small compared to others in the area resulting in less choice. The shelves always seem to have low stock in different areas, a lot of the time it's the bread aisle - as was today. Parking is always available and free, trolleys needs a pound annoyingly. Then again there are a lot of scumbags round here that seem to think they have a right to use them all the way home!

This large suburban branch of Sainsbury holds an extensive range of products, produce and clothing. It is well stocked and service is of a good standard. A large carpark is rarely near capacity. The filling station is usually competitively priced.

Not the biggest East Asian section but found most of what is needed. Very helpful staffs, no phone signal in the middle of store if you use SmartShop on your phone, better use their scanner or perhaps it’s just my service provider.

Loads of parking available. The have an Argos counter there too. Good offers in store. They have a car wash and a fuel station as well. You can pay for the car wash at the entrance of the car wash and drive in directly. You do not have to go the the fuel station counter to pay. Remove your antenna if it's the screw in type. It could possibly break off with the rotating brush. The car wash is often closed for maintenance. Brilliant when it's open though!

Not very disable friendly. Electric disability scooters are never working for whatever reason. And when they do, you're not allowed to take them through the doors to the disabled bay to unload your shopping. It's not helpful when you're on crutches and trying to carry heavy shopping. Almost impossible, then female managers speak to you like you're a lesser human being, no offer of assistance to carry shopping to the car. Staff don't want to know. Being disabled is tough enough, and a little compassion and offer of help would go a long way. Better than rude and uncaring attitudes, which extends into the management team. No longer shop there.

My go to place for mid week shopping - I get my shopping delivered by Tesco and if I fancy something different I go here. Staff are great, very helpful and I use the scan and shop, that's brilliant, get what I need and gone with minimal fuss!

Well stocked with a pleasant atmosphere (for a supermarket) I enjoyed the Christmas music. Would appreciate more vegan options.

A good branch with friendly staff. Lots of variety and availability is really good. Car park is more than big enough to accommodate with plenty of parent parking.

A go to for things forgotten.. no longer able to get a full shop for a week. Many shelves empty, longer dates on perishables needed. Staff helpful. Not the cheapest company..I go for petrol and look at clothes mainly. Shame as was once my regular store for full groceries..place needs updating.

Store has had a goods mover around. I know why its done as people sleep shop. They know where stuff they want is & just get that product. A move around makes customers look & just might see something they've not seen before. They also had a leak from one of the ready made meals fridges. Big wet puddle. Had been coned of signs up & some one was moping the water up. All in all a ok shop

Not too bad for shopping but when it comes too pay no tills open. They say they are short staffed this is only 7:30 in the evening. I would have thought tills should be open until shop closes at night because how are you to put a full trolley off food through the self scan check out.

Stock levels seem back to normal now after a poor spell. Decent sized store, senior staff helpful, junior ones less so. Not the best at sorting their trollies out - often have to hunt for one.

Really lovely, quiet, well maintained and stocked store. It's easily accessible by lovely maintained footpath with birdsong, fields , little bit of sheltered woodland, stream all from Broadwater area, so no need to take your car. Extremely pleasant.

I have been using the Smartshop app via my Samsung mobile since Covid. Up until recently it worked really well with the occasional Wifi outage at different parts of the store. Last week it allowed me to scan a few items before constantly telling me I had no Wifi even though all my other apps worked fine. I spent about 10 minutes trying to find a place to scan my remaining items which ended up being the middle of the store. Today the app simply wouldn't let me scan any items in any part of the store telling me my wifi was down. All my other apps worked fine so it wasn't an issue with my phone. I had to queue up and pay at a till as used to be the normal shop. This obviously takes longer but also prevents me from picking up bonus Nectar points or my Nectar prices (these items are usually out of stock but that is another issue!) My shopping therefore cost more. This store needs to correct their wifi or app issue Asap or I'll simply take my custom else where.

Nice and quiet. Always find what I need. The only thing is at the self checkouts, the staff hold onto those 30p bags and scan them for you before you can even touch them - anyone would think the 30p is deducted from their pay if someone steals one
