Have been looking for a good aquatic centre within the London area. This place had super clean tanks with healthy looking fish. I myself am a cichlid keeper and I wasn't disappointed with the variety and pricing of the fish. The centre is located within a garden centre which also has its own restaurant. Currently following good social distancing measures throughout. On site parking and toilets.

Very nice shop and well presented. All the staff has amazing knowledge of fish. Now I know that sounds a bit stupid as people would say well they should do as they work in a fish shop. This in reality is not always the case in every type of work you do. I have seen many times when people work in stores and don't have a clue about the products they sell. These guys do and they are very helpful in what you need to have a stable equation environment. They could quite easily sell any fish to earn money like the one across the road for them in springtime. I originally went into this store when I was looking to buy fish and the stuff was more expensive the women did not seem interested at all as when we asked questions they were very short and dismissive and there were loads of dead fish in the tanks that had not been removed and for people looking to purchase fish this does not look great as it looks as if they are not looked after. The staff in Maidenhead Aquatics are brilliant though and all of their tanks look clean and amazing.

Bought an aquarium and all start up kit. Phillip was really friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about all aspects of fish keeping. A well stocked shop for all the basics, fish, tanks, plants etc. Parking on site. Gets very busy on Sundays, weekdays are better.

So happy with this shop and the customer service was amazing and they were all so helpful , friendly and fun atmosphere , plus they really know what they are talking about , we was new to buying tropical fish and they help us with the whole set up and answered all our questions , will be recommending to others :)

I have been to this shop so many times and have never got disappointed the customer service is brilliant and they have great quality of fishes. They helped me setting up my first tank and it looks absolutely brilliant..

A great place to shop for your new addition to the tank or pond. They also have every product you could think off. Very helpful and welcoming people. We made a quick YouTube video of our visit to showcase their great stock too with absolutely no problems.

Fantastic variety of cold water and tropical fish. The staff are absolutely brilliant and know what we need for the type of fish we were purchasing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would recommend people to go their to buy fish and look at other products they sell there. Would go there again. 🙂

Wide variety of aquariam tanks and accessories. Deducted 3 pts for the fact that despite them having a huge variety of fish they have not been displayed properly. All the fishes are either misnamed showing disinterest in fish display and customer service. Ended up buying all my fish from a competitor nearby as if the staff acnnot be bothered to correct disllay fish species and names I was not sure whether they would be cared for and healthy.

Visited them to buy some fish and one of the stuff member with glasses and crocked eyes, obviously not native, who served me was very unprofessional and rude, tried to sell me items but I wasn't interested and after rejecting he didn't want to sell me any fish. I don't recommend this Aqua shop as this particular employee has obvious problems with himself and does not know how to treat customers and as well prices are very high compared to another aqua shop just cross the road. Where stuff members are very warm and friendly.👍

Fantastic and very knowledgeable staff. The tanks are super clean and they have a vast array of different fish species. Dry goods are well stocked and affordable. I have stores closer to me but go out of my way to go here.

Very helpful staff good on prices and knowledgeable. They was happy to help and answer my questions. It's are first fish tank for my son's birthday helped me to my car I even forgot some bits in store and when I was walking back they was on the way out with them will be going back there in the future

I had a great experience today and I picked up some new fishes for my aquariums. I would definitely come back and grab some more. There’s loads of plants like tomatoes, cucumber, peppers and ect. I would recommend this shop if you want to browse around to pick up a few things for your garden or aquarium.

I love this aquatic shop. They keep healthy fishes so many species. I bought some of my fishes here, and I m so happy with them. The members of the staff are always helpful and friendly. My today experience is the same! The young guy who assisted me through my fish shopping, was absolutely helpful, gave me advice and he was so patient, meanwhile I ve been so picky(sorry again☺️)

Really impressed with this aquarium shop. The fish all look very healthy and the ones I bought are doing well. The shop itself is very clean and, while I was in there, the staff were misting down all the tanks and cleaning the glass. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and happy to offer advice. I will definitely be purchasing my tropical fish from here in the future.

Good selection of aquatic plants which is what we needed. Staff were happy to help and gave us some really good advice and tips about what we need to start off our mini-pond. Will definitely go back

We visit regularly as my granddaughter loves feeding the fish and walking around looking at all the different types of fish. Very welcoming!!

I have been a customer of the shop for years, and I have to say that I feel sad about the bad reviews. I have never been left without help or advice. The fish quality is great and the boys are great!! If you want quality fish an great advice visit them!!

Good selection of fish but quite a few were mislabeled and plants were not looking good. I love Maidenhead Aquatics but unfortunately the large competitor just down the road is offering much better and with more competitive pricing.

Lovely store with a huge selection of fish and plants. I shop between this branch and the larger St Albans branch. Not sure about the previous comments on the fish labelling and plants as I could not see any issues there. Each to their own.

I was looking for sturisoma aureum fish. When I called Maidenhead Enfield I spoke to Adam who confirmed that they had 5 wild caught fish in stock. He even confirmed they were from Columbia. I planned to go next day to buy. So rang again in the morning to check the fish were still available. Adam confirmed again. Somehow i couldn't make it that day. I had time to go today so checked again if the fish had not been sold. I also reconfirmed that these were sturisoma and not Farlowella which is totally different species although still called whiptail or stick. On being reassured for the third time, I made a 20 mile journey to the shop only to find out those were Farlowella and not sturisoma. A total waste of time and money spent on petrol. Maidenhead staff should either give accurate information or say they don't know. I'M NEVER GOING TO TRUST THIS TRADER AGAIN. Very frustrating. Following the owner's response. I had specifically asked if the fish was Royal Sturisoma Aureum. And three times confirmed by store staff that it was. Twice by Adam. In fact these fish were farlowella. Quite different from Royal Sturisoma, although still commonly called whiptail. These are nocturnal and you hardly see them during the day. I have sturisoma aureum that's active all the time.

Best store around very knowledgeable Staff and great selection of healthy fish will be back again!
