A lovely little seafood restaurant that gets creative with their dishes -Try the periwinkles! Friendly, swift service and delicious food. Two complimentary starters: salted carmel butter with the fresh warm bread and goatscheese cakes. We shared two starters, seafood platter, Surf & turf platter and four desserts between four of us. Easily could have left the starters and desserts as the mains are so generous, but the offerings we're too nice to miss. Lovely place for an occasion.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner here for our anniversary. The staff are brilliant and the food too. We got a lovely gesture of a glass of champagne and the wine recommendation I got was spot on. There was gorgeous bread and butter for the table which was a really nice touch, and an amuse bouche of Halibut on a crisp bread that was just perfect. The steak was the nicest my boyfriend had and I had the luxury seafood bowl which was incredible. Can’t wait to go back already. Deserts also stunning

My first time to Michaels and I must say I'm definitely coming back for more. The best seafood platter I've had in Ireland. The ray wing fritti was so delicious too. Kudos to the chef. To add on, their service was a 10/10, so warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant. A must try!!

Worth the ride from central Dublin for their excellent seafood. Save room for dessert, and then work it all off with a walk along the beach at the nearby coastline.

First the good news- great service and the food was delicious. Had beef for a starter in the shape of beef and risotto, deep fired balls. Yum. Photo enclosed. For the main had the fillet steak with bernaise sauce... It was really tender. Photo enclosed. Now the bad news- the venue seems cramped, not much space. It was noisy both from staff, diners and music playing (that was annoying). It was pricy but I knew it would be- meal for 3 was 191 euros..

There’s a reason this place has a 4.8 rating…it’s that good! First you are welcomed by some amazing staff. Friendly, engaging and really knowledgeable about their food and wine, especially Darren. Then comes the food…astonishingly good. All the fish is locally sourced and incredibly presented and tastes amazing…if you haven’t been here you must. I will be making this place a regular event. Superb.

Food was amazing. The oysters are hugh, get them when you are there. Crab salad was amazing, make sure you get bread with it. The fish was the best. Flavorful and it fell right off the bone.

We'll what can I say. We had a fantastic anniversary dinner here in a lovely, intimate surrounding. Excellent service and mouth watering sea food platter to share, which was hot rather than the regular, which tends to be cold. It came highly recommended to us and I must admit, it lived up to our expectations. Decor wise, the restaurant is 70s old world, but in a quant and warm way, excellent service, super food and great wine list. Not your every day meal out but lovely for a special occasion. They even treated is to a special anniversary desert.

This place is my favourite restaurant in Dublin. The food is absolutely amazing. The whole team are also the most welcoming and friendly bunch of people (shout out to Clare and Ivan the head chef) and we are always well looked after. Highlights are the steak, fish platter and the Arancini. I dream about the triple cooked chips too. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Great to be able to have a sit down meal at a restaurant again. Fantastic food and wine ( as always), scallops and black sole were particular stand outs on this occasion.

Had a delicious meal here a couple of weeks ago. The scallops were amazing but everything was gorgeous. We were too full to try dessert but will keep space next time. Service was friendly and very efficient Can't wait to return.

The food was excellent and the service was quick. It was also excellent value for money. I highly recommend the king scallops and the Irish mussels.

We booked a table on a Sunday for our traditional family Christmas lunch. The food was fantastic. The gorgeous sea food platter was substantial and all was delicious. The other sea food dishes we ordered were equally delicious. The service was excellent. It is amazing how comfortable one feels in the restaurant… We will be back!!!

My family went for a meal on a Saturday, there were 8 of us. We were so well treated, from the moment we came in to the moment we left, it was like visiting someone’s house. Everyone except me had fish, I wanted a vegan option and had emailed ahead already. I had a beautiful meal of vegetable bhaji and then a stuffed mushroom and garlic celeriac main. It was sublime. The chef really took so much care and pride in all our meals, but he really accommodated my meal preference. It was so nice to not be ignored or made to feel out of place for needing a special accommodation. It was wonderful and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Top notch dining experience. Really fantastic food and wine. Staff were excellent. We had the John dory fritters as a starter and shared the surf and turf which wasn't the usual few prawns on a steak but actually a big selection plate with a mix of steak, beef, sea bass, cockles, muscles and prawns. We didn't know if we'd like it when it arrived but everything on the platter was delicious. Can't remember what we had for dessert but it was lovely too! Highly recommended.

Best seafood I had for a while, leave some space for their desert also, love their strawberry cheesecake, very friendly service. Good experience to have lunch there, you can take some walk in Deerpark after full belly.

Had a wonderful meal in Michael's. Food was so fresh and great portions and excellent pairing of wine. Take out was so welcome during full lock down but nothing beats the in house experience. So glad they are back. 🤗

Unbelievable fresh seafood! Everything I ate was amazing and couldn't fault it whatsoever. I had the seafood bowl and chips and was delighted with my choice. Really nice staff. Lovely setting and I loved the music they had on! Definitely recommend and 10/10!

Excellent hospitality. The finest seafood and beef in Dublin if not Ireland. The surf and turf for the table is a must. Wine list to suit all tastes. Full marks.
