Before I booked my stay, I read all the WONDERFUL reviews about the hosts. Seems they unfortunately moved out 2 days before I arrived. Too bad they didn’t train the new lady to have the customer service they did. When we arrived, we stood outside the front door in negative degree weather with our bags in arms and rang the bell. Door was locked, we could see lady inside ignoring us….. so we got confused and cold, and went to sit back in our warm car. The host KNEW what time we would arrive so we expected a warm greeting. Called and asked the host if we were at the right door, she said yes. So we went back to the door and she finally let us in. She then proceeded to give a tour which is appreciated but not very convenient when carrying our bags still in arms. Finally in our room, we asked for some ice, was told she would be back with some, but she never returned. Room and food was good but hoping the customer service gets better before I ever return again.

My wife and I enjoyed our recent stay (of many) at the Ann Bean Mansion in historic Stillwater! Just simply lovely accommodations. Beautiful woodwork everywhere. Very clean and well kept. We stayed in the E. L. Hersey Room. Comfortable bed, amazing bathroom with a couple's shower to die for! We took breakfast in the dining room - which we were told few do anymore - that most opt to have their breakfast 'en-suite.' We enjoyed meeting Brian the new owner (as of about two years ago) and had a lovely conversation. Don't miss the Lime Sugar Cookies and delicious coffee made with coffee from a local roaster.

Our first stay at the Ann Bean Mansion was one year ago and we have since stayed three times. The hospitality is top notch. The rooms are beautiful and despite the house being full you'd never know it. The breakfast they serve beats any other meal we've eaten in the Stillwater area, and is by far some of the best food I've had. We've even purchased the snack baskets a couple times and it was very plentiful and delicious! If you want complete relaxation in a beautiful, historic home, this is the place for you. We are already planning when we'll next return.

I try to get back to the Ann Bean Mansion B&B every year because of how beautiful the rooms are! Thank you SO much to Patricia and her staff for taking exceptional care of me! I loved the complimentary wine and chocolate cookies, being able to relax in a whirlpool tub (the heated floors and luxurious robes are amazing), the L'Occitane products you carry are lovely, waking up to the smell of coffee as it wafts through my room, and enjoying a gorgeous breakfast next to a warm fire in the frigid winter is EVERYTHING to me! Thank you and I can't wait to visit next year! :)

Not too thrilled with the Tower Room. The bed was horribly uncomfortable to the point we wanted to leave and the pillows were worse. There should be an option for people to choose between a soft/medium/firm pillow. We also found a bug in our bed, which makes me wonder if the sheets were even changed. Also, please clean the ceiling fan. There is a ton of dust built up. Not something we should see. The food was decent. Our host was nowhere to be found when checking out so we just left the key at the front desk. Probably won't return with the place under new management.

Very warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived! We stayed in the Solarium Suite and it was perfect. Very spacious but still gave us a cozy, intimate feel. The breakfast was incredible! You could tell it was prepared fresh that morning and was full of vibrant flavors. The mansion itself is located the perfect distance from downtown Stillwater. We had fun touring the town during the day and only had to drive a couple minutes back to the mansion for the night. We will definitely be visiting again!

This was our 3rd stay at Ann Bean Mansion, and it was just as lovely as always. The new owners have put a lot of great improvements in while maintaining the charm and history of the house. Great beds! Great linens! Super quiet, clean, and fresh smelling — no old home musty smell. The house was full during our stay, but with the option to have breakfast delivered to our room, we didn’t see or hear any other guests, which was perfect for our quiet weekend. Great location; close to downtown but not too close. Delicious breakfast. Easy parking. We will be back again!

My 2 sisters and I stayed one night at this beautiful mansion - in Cynthia's Room. We were greeted warmly by Melissa and Brian. The sitting room was beautifully decorated, showing much of the history of the house. We had great conversation with the owners and the other guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back

My husband and I recently stayed here for an anniversary weekend. We love staying at bed and breakfasts, and it was one of our very favorite experiences with a b&b. The surrounding area is beautiful, and there are tons of activities and fabulous restaurants in walking distance. Brian and Bea were both incredible hosts, sharing about the history of the house and providing local recommendations. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning, and it was delicious and thoughtful. Absolutely would recommend this place- it’s a one of a kind property, well cared for and maintained by ownership. The details are thought-out, and hospitality is top-notch.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here for our mini-moon. The bed was luxuriously comfortable. The copper tub is so unique & the shower refreshing. It was a very relaxing stay. We plan to revisit for a future anniversary! Stillwater is beautiful!

This b&b is stunning. We stayed in the Cynthia room which had multiple seating areas, comfy bed, a beautiful fireplace and a whirlpool tub. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed getting to know the owner and learning about the house. Would definitely recommend.

Our first ever B&B, and it was amazing. The hosts were so welcoming, and we received a tour of the whole mansion. All the details of the mansion were so beautiful. The breakfast that was delivered to our room was incredible. Staying at this B&B was something different, quiet and so cozy. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone!

We are in the middle of our third stay here. Every time we have visited it has been amazing- new ownership and old. The bed in the Solarium is the best bed we have ever slept in, and the copper tub by the fireplace is so wonderful. The front entrance and host always welcome us and give us a slow entrance into relaxation- we usually just stay a night to get away for a sec and this place is special. We are greeted with a glass of wine, and left alone to relax each time. The breakfast in the morning is so good, and has lots of variety. It’s worth it every time.

My wife and I had a lovely experience at this gorgeous and beautifully kept historical building. The assistant innkeeper welcomed us warmly and the service in general was top notch (with fresh baked cookies and drinks included at our arrival and breakfast served in our room). We stayed in the solarium room which is a dream. Every detail was beautifully thought out and we enjoyed the copper tub by the fireplace. Both the room and the mansion as a whole were impeccably clean. We will definitely love to go back and recommend it without any hesitation to every one.

My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary here and we had a lovely weekend. Great service and hospitality, a well acquainted room, and a beautiful historic, Victorian-style mansion. It's also only a 8-10 minute walk downtown if you don't want to mess with downtown parking. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place with an exceptional host and a most pleasant breakfast. Interior has been well restored, furnished and maintained to its historical past. Host gave us a wonderful history of the house and it’s original family. Sadly the other 3 guest rooms chose to eat breakfast in their rooms instead of gathering around the dining table. To us this is a high point in a B&B. We’d certainly stay here again.

The mansion was beautiful!! The service was so great, and the room my wife and I stayed in was lovely. We stayed here on our wedding night, and we couldn't be happier. The breakfast was delicious and they were able to accommodate both my gluten-free diet and my wife's vegan diet. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Seriously amazing! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners and given a mini tour. Tea and snacks are available all day. We were shown our room (The Tower Room) and offered complimentary wine or beer. The tower room was amazing-had a beautiful double shower, jacuzzi tub and a little stairway to show the tower hideaway at the top where many rounds of gin rummy were played :) Breakfast was amazing and they were so considerate of allergies. I haven't slept that good in years and it was certainly all due to the amazing bed. I cannot wait to return to this lovely home!

Spectacular accommodations!! Everything about this B&B was perfect; from the great location, within walking distance to downtown Stillwater, the scrumptious breakfast brought to your room, welcoming hosts and beautifully appointed rooms! There was nothing overlooked! The tower room was graced with a two person jetted tub, a tower space that overlooked the city, comfortable bed, lovey pillows, fireplace…everything was absolutely stellar even down to the toiletries provided (I actually looked up and purchased online before leaving because they smelled incredible!), also one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely GORGEOUS Victorian B and B! Loads of amenities, such as hotel fridge and microwave in the splendidly furnished room with a king-size bed. Spotlessly clean. 2-person jacuzzi tub in our room. Scrumptious breakfast brought to your door. WOW! I give it 11 out of 10!

My wife and I have been here 3 times and plan to keep coming back in the future. It is a first rate experience all the way around with delicious breakfasts and cozy, relaxing rooms. The Tower Room is especially nice because of the views. If you come here looking for rest and relaxation you won't be disappointed!

We stayed in the Cynthia room. It was spacious, comfortable and very relaxing. The staff were all friendly and helpful and a joy to talk with. If we had any needs they were a text away, which was great for when we were out and about. The beds are extremely comfortable. The room was inspiring and the food was amazing. We loved every minute. My only gripe - and it's a small one - is that they offer Netflix, Hulu, etc. But no log in. We like to watch a show before bed, but live TV was all we could get. Luckily the bed lulled us to sleep real quick. Overall a great experience. We hope to visit again!

We had a great stay at the mansion! The owner was very accommodating and the room was spectacular. The decor is a perfect mix of history with modern amenities. The location is very close to downtown. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to spend in our awesome room.

We had a wonderful one-night stay here for our honeymoon. We wanted something that felt more personal and special than a hotel, and this did not disappoint! We stayed in Cynthia, which has a whirlpool tub to die for. Breakfast was delivered to our room and was delicious and filling! We also got complementary wine, bottled water, and plenty of hot drink options (which they also brought to us at breakfast alongside orange juice!). Overall, it felt like we got the royal treatment and was well worth the cost. I look forward to hopefully coming back for future special occasions!

We had an amazing stay in the Hersey Room at the Ann Bean mansion in Stillwater. The rooms were quiet and breakfast was wonderful. We cannot say enough good things about Brian and Bea and will definitely return.
