Very friendly staff. Was helpful with information i requested. Bar has great service. Bobbie at the bar is great. Food is good. Could stay open later. This is a great place for a drink and food. Still good service. Renee and Barb are two new bartenders and they are terrific. They are staying open till 8 pm now. Bobbie is no longer there. George the Dock Master is very helpful. The other staff member could use a lesson in customer service. She is always angry and unfriendly. Never helpful when dealing with her.

Bar staff was great. Helped with kayak rentals and local information. Only issue was holes in the kayaks. Had to return one before it sank. Bar food was very good. Had blackened mahi and grouper sandwiches with sweet potato fries and regular seasoned fries. All cooked to perfection and delivered in a timely manner. Beach area was nice and was swept clean prior to opening. Marina and bathrooms were clean. Enjoyed the bay areas and tiki huts. They are currently being renovated with a estimated completion date of this November. Marina staff was of little use. We arrived prior to bar staff arrival and we found out marina staff was supposed to rent the kayaks to us, which they said we had to wait for bar staff. Someone needs to figure out what the policy is and stick to it.

Love everything about this marina! We’ve always had a great experience when staying here. The people are great and so is the marina staff. Working with George (dock master) has always been a wonderful experience as well. Yes it’s a little far out there from access to things like a grocery store, so we’ve had to rent a car here and there for provisions if we stay for a few months. Besides that you can always go to the bar/restaurant on site or take a 1.5 mile walk to the 7 day if your running low on something. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

I have stayed at a few marinas and while all have been good, some better than others but all decent I must say that NAS Boca Chica is a hidden gem. Great beach which in Key West a decent beach is not a given. The bar and restaurant have that corner bar or restaurant you used to frequent in town where you grew up. Service is good and the food is good, the marina office, headed up by George, do their best to make sure everyone is happy! Excellent customer service. You do have to have eligible military ID or be active duty and it is checked at the main entrance and at the marina office on arrival. Definitely a great deal compared to all the other marinas in KW…

Fantastic place to kayak! The water was very warm and quite shallow, making it super easy to see all of the jellyfish, fishes, starfish, and corals. The beach was kind of rocky, but still super soft and full of small shells! The bar had great drinks and made for a great day. I saw a family of manatees here and it was great overall

Spent a couple of weeks at the Boca Chica Marina in Jan/Feb 2022. Slips were first rate with power and water available . The manatees and tarpon made every walk a wonderful adventure. Manatees would be there for a couple of days and then disappear. Staff was very helpful and worked with me to adjust my schedule. The Navigator bar and restaurant were great tho closing at 6 or 6:30 was odd. May just Covid making things difficult. Only drawback was the quiet isolation. A rental car made it easier but after returning it we had a hard time getting supplies. No fuel in the marina but a gas station on base had diesel. MWR facilities are only for those on active duty, retired armed forces so keep your ID card handy.

Military affiliation required to enter the marina from land or sea. Great folks. Great slips. Very deep marina and canal. Good bar, beach and food.

Love this place. Beach is great, bar serves great drinks and the view is outstanding.

Love this place, we are grateful for any military base. Close and there is a bowling alley, a shopette and a couple of restaurants...oh and a beautiful marina!

Super awesome service by all staff members ! The beach next to the marina is a slice of paradise which has a tiki and bbqs for us to enjoy.

Best Marina in town!

Great marina! George was awesome, fitting us into a transient slip despite crushing, dynamic demand for slips and mooring balls. Facilities were super clean and plentiful. Onsite restaurant and bar were solid and staffed with friendly professionals. The best part was the local cruising community. Always somebody to catch your lines or help with a boat project.
