My ribs were I’m sure undercooked and PINK they look bloody still I’m so disgusted by this. If I could give my plate zero stars that’s exactly what I would give this. Just gross disgusting soggy ribs they tasted like they were boiled nothing like the pictures they advertised. The sauce is exactly like the lady under my review described runny oily flavorless so disappointed. The only good thing was the sides the cornbread was stale and old. I can’t believe I spent $60 on trash. I will never be coming back. Oh and the customer service was awful by the man who took my order he acted as he hated his job like no one told you to work here he just stood there waiting for me to speak instead of greeting the customer asking what I would like to order just terrible experience.

Okay, I'll cut them some slack, because it was Thanksgiving. For the service, "This is $#it." They weren't prepared at all. We arrived at 2:30, line was at the door. The manager was asking the cashier if she needed help, because she was taking so long. The manager finally leaves the order line to go and help. Now you have young workers, who obviously didn't want to be there taking your order. They should of updated us that they were practically out of everything! You get up there and there's a wait on the fried chicken, Mac and cheese, no potato salad and $7.41 for a slice of pie. Are you kidding me! This was cafeteria food at restaurant prices! Highway robbery! $55 for two meals!

Omg the food here us amazing. Think southern comfort food. I had the smothered pork chops with mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, Mac and cheese, cornbread, Pepsi and banana pudding and it was $23. I’m a big eater and I could not finish all that food but every bite was delicious. I waddled out of there with a smile on my face and a plan to return. You got to try this joint out

Bought boneless rib tips for Christmas…would NOT recommend. Container full of fat and barely any meat. No worth the cost!!!!! Do better if you want people to support your catering business.

Issa no for me dawg. So you're in the South, you're expectations for southern food and BBQ are a little high, sadly this ain't that place. It wasn't very clean, the food wasn't that great minus a few items like the sweet potato dish, broccoli and cheese casserole and that peach punch yum. The garbage outside the restaurant was beyond full, the napkins were out which I said something about twice, no wet wipes in a BBQ joint is ludicrous yet there were staff having seats in front of and behind the counter. Where's Keith Lee when you need him cuz they need instruction honey?! With all of the choices in Georgia, competition abounds, do better y'all.

I keep attempting to give This Is It chance after chance. But each time I do the food to me is mediocre at best. We got the 2 for $35 lunch special. I got the ribs and my partner got the ribs tips... To me they taste more like baked than truly smoked. For my sides I got sweet potato souffle and collards... Each was just average.

I forgot to post from a couple weeks ago.. If Steve doesn't fix my plate, I don't want it! He knows how to give great serving sizes and with a great personality, too. Everything was fresh, especially the ribs. Everything tasted great. This is definitely one of my favorite to-go spots for soul food.

For what this place is trying to be. I think it just about nails it. The staff are really friendly, especially the wonderful gentleman who was working on the evening of Feb 14, 2023! I took off points for the atmosphere because while the staff were very nice, wholesome, and welcoming, the overall look of the place and the seating felt pretty uninspired. The place had some neat historical elements of the company and timelines on the walls, but nothing really to spruce up the comfort value of the place and make you want to stay long. I hope they change out the seating and tables in the future for something better. Overall a very good experience though and a great welcome into Georgia!

I went to This Is It because I had an excellent experience with them in the past. I am a Rib Tip junkie and prior to this visit, I had wonderful experiences. I ordered my usual Rib Tips along with cabbage and green beans. After the preparer fixed my plate, I had to wait for over 15 minutes to get to the checkout. There were 2 customers who had been waiting in line to check from the time I entered the store. They were patient but rolling their eyes, which was a clear signal that they were being subjected to unacceptable customer service. After waiting for about 10 minutes to order my food, 5 minutes to have it put in the container, 15 minutes waiting to pay, I finally sat down to eat. After an accumulated 30 minutes, I finally got to sit down to eat. The cabbage was tasty. However, the Rib Tips didn't even resemble Rib Tips, and I can say that after visiting Chicago, Indy, Memphis, several other vendors in Atlanta, and even This Is It when I visited a year ago, this was a disaster. I wound up putting the container back in the bag and placing the container with the entire meal in the trash. Also, when a very nice young lady who prepared my container was taking what appeared to be sweet potatoes from a nearly empty pan and placed it into the replacement pan, she placed the empty pan on the counter. She moved at least 95% of the residual food from the empty pan to the replacement pan. The gentleman from behind the counter, who certainly looked like the owner, began speaking harshly to the young lady and told her to get absolutely every morsel out of the empty pan, and he meant every single morsel!!! This was very poor optics to customers who were experiencing poor customer service at that time. This experience suggested to me that the company was experiencing financial problems and possibly management issues. I am Director of Sales and Marketing for a large company, and I see these types of issues when management is experiencing difficulties.

This was my first trip to This Is It, and I have to say I was pleased with the service I received the staff was helpful and friendly and the food was especially tasty! It has a cafeteria style atmosphere (located in a strip mall), so if you're looking for fine dining you may want to go somewhere else, but if you're interested in home style southern cooking that's not overly salted/seasoned this is a place you should try! Oh yes and I'll be going back again!

Had this for the first time and it was average. Nothing special. The collards barely had any taste, guess I’m used to good ol southern collards! Mac and cheese was also average. The ribs were good but if I’m being biased I’ve deff had better! So it’s hard not to compare. This was okay, nothing too exciting. Don’t think I’ll be ordering again. The staff was nice. Got my food right away.

I got to be honest I got the brisket and it was just okay. It was a little pricey but just okay. I didn't feel like cooking so it came in handy but I wasn't blown away by the food which was kind of disappointing because they charged like 25 for a plate of food but I feel like it could of been better but you decide for yourself.

My wife wanted the chitterlings. She wasn't ready to put in the work for making her own. The price for their large was steep, but you also have to weigh in the extensive time involved for preparation and cooking of this dish. They were great according to my wife, and she's been doing this dish for many years. Not everyone can achieve the outcome. The servers were great, no complaints there. Good people make the difference.

If you want to know what good southern barbecue is visit, anyone of there locations! The food is consistently, Fantastic! All the sides are made from scratch and fresh. The sauce is as good as any sauce you will get anywhere. I am from Texas I know good barbecue these men have put together a fabulous franchise. I wish we had one in Lilburn Georgia.

I actually love the sides at this place, but all of a sudden the past couple times I went there, they wasn't offering the sweet potato souffle. That's just crazy to me. The lady told me that they had candid yams and they're trying to sell that more. Why in the world would they stop selling one of the best and most popular sides to serve something else....are the deliberately trying to lose customers!? If they keep this up, my 4 stars going straight to 1
