My rating is based on the overall atmosphere and cleanliness of Charlie's Sports Bar, where I ate catfish, coleslaw, french fries, and hush puppies. Though most patrons come to drink alcohol to relax or party, I came to eat. I sat, ate, and observed the overall atmosphere for over an hour. No beer bottle smashing or disorderly conduct occurred during that period. 😊 The food was decent, especially in considering that the beautiful Barkeep, Charly, multitasks as the bartender, waitress, and cook. Charlie's Sports Bar offers its customers a variety of other activities to engage in for entertainment. For a bar in particular, the business was clean, including the restroom.

Has kind of a dive bar feel to it. The type of place where the bartender knows almost everyone’s name because they’ve been coming to sit in the same spot & order the same thing at the same time for years. The regulars definitely get attended to before the new customers...to the extent that I felt I had to flag down the bartender & then wait for her to finish chatting every time I needed something. The prices are reasonable with decent pours and typical bar food. In addition to TVs to keep the drunks entertained there are some of the electronic games in the hallway that leads to the restrooms, as well as several pool tables scattered in the front near the doors. They even have a really nice tabletop shuffleboard setup complete with sand on the far wall.

This is my spot. Every bartender treats you like family. I recently celebrated my birthday there on July 15th. It's a of the place was specifically reserved for me.

OMG karaoke on Saturday nights!!! Such a vibe!! They played and sang everything from country to blues to jazz to hip hop. It was a whole party! I didn't even realize I'd been there so long.

This is a nice small bar with a few pool tables. Karaoke with KJ Ernie, he is always fun. We visited for an hour after a concert, and we split a pitcher of beer. Food looked great, but we did not eat.

The atmosphere was a little bear but it was in the middle of the afternoon. The food was all that to ask for but after all it is bar food. One thing I didn't expect was there was no french fries that I asked for and got potato chips instead but I ordered the ham and grilled cheese sandwich with fries. It was decent. And it's more of a local place for people to hang

Great staff and people! Charly is my go to bartender who is an amazing woman by the way however, you gotta show the rest of girls behind the bar love because they are great in each of their own right. I am a very selective person and that being said, this bar is more than that by a long shot. It’s a matter of perspective, but Personally, Its the people that make this bar. Won’t show the same love anywhere else.

These are a meatlover's nacho dream. The beer is as cheap as 2.50. pretty good, man. You should definitely give this place a shot.

Sorry I really can't rate this place because I didn't go here, I went to LMB Bisque next door which is a sip and paint spot. But Charlie's keep popping up asking me for a review. All I can say is they had a pretty nice crowd so something must be right.

Food was really good and the bartender was really sweet.

I tried somewhere different today --- Charlies Sports Bar. The website said it opened at 11 a.m. I got there at 11:15. Then I was informed it didn't open until noon. What a joke.. luckily, johns is right around the corner. I guess I will never know if the service is friendly since I didn't get anything here.

Found this place when looking around for somewhere to play pool and a couple of drinks. Super friendly people, bar-staff we’re great, and reminded me of being in one of my local pubs back home in England (minus the country music..) will definitely be visiting again soon!

I love this place for its low key atmosphere, but Red truly makes it an even better environment. She always knows what I want before I even know! Great place and great times! And Trish is also amazing! Best bartenders there!
