Diagnos, ultraljud och behandling inom loppet av två veckor. Och smärtan släppte inom några få dagar! Så här långt kom inte regionens vårdcentraler/sjukhus på tre år... Har du problem med nacke/rygg så kan jag varmt rekommendera Niklas. Antagligen fixar han andra krämpor också.

Is a physiotherapist in primary care in Uppsala. I recommend some patients with difficult-to-treat conditions, especially nerve entrapments, to see Dr. Wångdahl and they have always received a skilled assessment and treatments that healthcare cannot offer, for example hydrodissections or other ultrasound-guided injections. The patient is allowed to travel by himself, but with that the waiting times are also short and even if it costs more than a regular healthcare visit, it has rarely been necessary to have very many visits as Dr Wångdahl quickly knows what he is going to treat and does it.

Har nyligen varit på ett nybesök hos Metodica för smärtproblematik i muskler runt höften som jag har haft i drygt ett år. Ett mycket engagerat, proffsigt och förtroendeingivande bemötande av läkare. Tog sig tid för att försöka få en bra bild av läget och gick metodiskt tillväga i undersökningen med bl.a. ultraljud och bedövning för att ringa in problemområdet. Fick en kortisoninjektion. Jag är hoppfull att smärtan ska ge med sig.

Bokade tid för knäproblem, då magnetröntgen visat på svullnad i slemsäcken under ena knät. Upplevde mig mycket professionellt bemött, Niklas tog sig tid att grundligt undersöka smärtan och svullnadens placering i mina knän (genom att försöka trigga den samt undersökte med ultraljud). Noga med att injektionen med kortison skulle hamna rätt och berättade även sakligt vilken verkan jag kunde förvänta mig. Kan verkligen rekommendera.

Rekommenderar Medodica Specialistläkare. Jag har fått väldigt bra hjälp av Niklas Wångdahl med att diagnostisera och behandla både golf- och tennisarmbåge.

Tog sig tid att verkligen förstå problemet jag sökte för och hade ett respektfullt och professionellt bemötande. Grundliga och noggranna undersökningar som tog längre tid än det jag bokat för men debiterade inte extra för det.

I have visited dr Wångdahl on several occasions in connection with various problems. I have severe knee arthrosis. In Sweden I went to another orthopaedic surgeon at first, and got injections of hyaluronic acid called Crespin Gel. This type of hyaluronic acid didn’t work so well. When I came to dr Wångdahl he gave me Monovisc injections (Monovisc is another type of hyaluronic acid of high molecular weight). These injections appear to be much more effective than the previous ones. I can now get up from the floor, squat, and generally bend my knees with hardly any pain. On another occasion I got extremely swollen knees after contrast radiography. The swollenness didn’t want to go away by itself. Dr Wångdahl removed the fluid from my knees and they feel fine now. Everything he’s done until now has been fully successful. He is very gentle and careful, so I go to him with full confidence and no fear. He will examine you carefully, make a diagnosis and will then propose treatment. You can be sure that what he suggests is and honest opinion and the best solution in a given situation. If you need urgent help or advice, he will respond even out of hours. I once phoned him, as well as e-mailed him, in a panic, after 10 p.m. He called me the first thing in the morning, calming me down and explaining why my ‘diagnosis’ was wrong, told me what I should watch for and what I should do next. He did not charge me anything for this extra consultation. I highly recommend dr Wångdahl to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable and skilful doctor who will give reliable advice and effective treatment. Teresa Grace B.

Very good, thorough doctor who searches for causes of pain in a methodical way. Niklas uses ultrasound when he investigates and administers injections. Can highly recommend!

I had an inflammation in my knee for a long time that wouldn't go away. But after a thorough examination at Metodica, Niklas was able to remove part of the fluid and inject cortisone into the knee - and the inflammation subsided completely after just two days. After several weeks, pain returned in the hip, which turned out to be a bursitis. After a thorough examination, I received a local anesthetic + cortisone locally in the "sack" and became completely problem-free after just under a day. Thanks to the treatment with Niklas at Metodica Specialistlæreke, the constant pain in my shoulder started to subside and now I am finally on my way to a normal life. I can therefore warmly recommend his treatments if you have the same problem as me, i.e. frozen shoulder. Before I found Nikla's practice, I tried the general care at Capio care center in Högdalen. At Capio I was met with nonchalance and arrogance. No one took me seriously and there was a lack of experience and knowledge about the problem I had.
