Wow ! A hidden Gem in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. I am an Indian and I know my food. This restaurant serves authentic Indian food. The food was so freshly done and tasted just perfect. We ordered Saag mutton, Chicken Tikka Makhni, Daal Makhni, Garlic naan and plain naan, Mango lassi and salad. Everything was super tasty and fresh. This restaurant matches taste and quality of top indian restaurant in sweden : Indian Street Food and Co. Super happy, made my day. Good food makes me happy. :) Taste : 10 / 10 Service and Hospitality : 10/10 Hygiene and cleanliness : 10 / 10 Location : 10 /10 Ambience : 10 / 10

The place is amazing. The number of options available are less, but the food is amazing and the quality is great. We got to know about the place through word of mouth, and we visited to explore the place and it lived upto the expectations. The ambience was great and it had a great bar section as well, which looked amazing.

Recommend the cream chicken tikka for starters. This skewered chicken was fruity and savoury. As for the the Ludhiyani Saag Mutton and Chicken Tikka Makhani, the dishes came with only a small serving of rice on the rice which the dish small. Seems there is an expectation to also order naan bread for a more complete meal. The taste of the main dishes were ok, nothing to shout about. The flavours and serving style here including the mango lassi which was served in a bowl like a soup are very different from other Indian restaurants and I found the experience more expensive but less satisfying.

Came for a short trip to Stockholm from Gothenburg and completely enjoyed the food here. We ordered chicken biriyani and Mama’s coconut curry. Both of them were yum 🤌🏻♥️ I would definitely going to recommend this to others who visit Stockholm. Best Indian Restaurant in Sweden with authentic flavours

The service was really good. The place very cozy. But what we had gone for mainly is to have some good Indian food, the taste was average. The paneer gravy was really sweet and the meat in the chicken biryani too smoky.

Good Indian tasty food. The quantity was lil less for the prices but that’s fine as the taste was awesome, the seating arrangement could have been better as the in house guests are more important than the once who book and do not turn up.

Went first time to the new but already famed Pataka for their brunch menu. Ordered the Indian brunch meal and poori + sabzi. Overall happy with the food, though their were few things that could've been better. In the Indian brunch dosa, sambhar, wada were pretty good however Idli was a miss. Poori and chole were also nice but would've been great if pickle and onion were included in the meal. The decor is chic and unlike other Indian restaurants in Stockholm so that's a big plus, just wish the location was more central. Anyways, will surely be coming back to try their regular options as well. Update- visited again, this time for a dinner and the experience overall was amazing. Be it food or the service. Hoping they maintain this standard.

The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the service was great. The prices are fair and the food was good - I think the vegetarian dishes were actually more delicious than the meat options.

One of the best Indian restaurants i’ve ever been. The food is delicious and they have good prices. They have dishes that are good for kids too, they don’t have long menu but it’s thought thru. The staff were really friendly too. I can recommend it.

Another good one. My surprise when we chanced upon this place so close to home - it is most def a close second in my list of Indian restaurants in Stockholm- there must be something in having an Indian heading the place with Indian cooks running the kitchen. A little bit of spice would make it just right - but then that’s just me trying to be really North Indian. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Good job. Can’t wait to go back and try the weekend brunch once they are back from vacation.

One of my favourite Indian restaurants in the city. The dishes taste fresh and flavourful. Great for takeout/delivery as well! Don't miss the paneer curry and roti (a thinner type of Indian bread).

Best indian food I ever had! The people working there are very friendly and helpful, if you need help selecting a meal.

Recommended by a friend this restaurant truly stood on the good reviews. Tried the Pataka special thali for brunch and it had awesome taste. Do ask for special green chutney. If there was one thing that could have been improved would be the spice level of Paneer. Other flavours were Bang on. Had a great meal. Tip : Though the brunch timings are stated till 1500 in Google maps, do reach before 1400 so that you get to order what you would like to have!!

While both food and service were quite good (maybe even the best Indian food I've had in Stockholm so far), what really disappointed me was that we were served their regular Sunday brunch menu. I booked the table a few days in advance since their website clearly mentioned that there'll be Diwali Special menu for lunch and dinner. We arrived for lunch to find the regular menu, but since it was already too late to go anywhere else, ended up ordering a veg thali and poori chole, both of which were the right taste and right quantity.

If you're looking for authentic Indian flavors, this place is not for you. Stylised food, mediocre flavors. Service was good, but from the dishes we had the only thing I truly enjoyed was masala chai. The starter with shrimps didn't taste anything like Indian food at all and the main dish with lamb had a very "flat" taste with a lot of spices, but not so much flavor. Mango lassi was too thick and had to be consumed with a spoon, not as a drink.

Authentic Indian dishes finely spiced and very well balanced. The lamb meat is the best I had in a long time: tender, juicy and clean. Mango lassi is a delight for the senses and the people running the restaurant are very kind, friendly and welcoming. They even cooked saffron rasmalai off the menu for us upon request. Will definitely choose this place for a casual meal on our next trip to Stockholm! Thank you, Pataka, for two wonderful dinners in a beautiful, colourful, stylish and spacious typical Indian ambience.

Very nice flavours and pleasing to see different dishes than the default Indian curries so common in Stockholm's Indian places. We had the lamb curry, spring chicken, and chicken biryani. A small improvement would be slightly larger portions of the sauces (raita, mint yoghurt) coming with the dishes
