👍👍 We just celebrated my birthday in the restaurant and it was outstanding! Started with a mixed Pakora which was delicious and beautifully set on the plate. Then we had a sizzling chicken Tikka and hot Indian chicken (a very hot dish - only for the brave...). Desert was a Kunfi and Vanilla ice cream.... We just celebrated my birthday in the restaurant and it was outstanding! Started with a mixed Pakora which was delicious and beautifully set on the plate. Then we had a sizzling chicken Tikka and hot Indian chicken (a very hot dish - only for the brave...). Desert was a Kunfi and Vanilla ice cream. All the dishes were extremely tasty and generous. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The chef came out to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. Prices are reasonable and the dishes were served very quickly with hardly any waiting time. We will surely come back soon!

Simple place, decorated in a typical Indian style. The staff, very friendly, originally from Bangladesh, but who do not speak much English. Best of all, the food: served in an original way, on a very hot grill, the macerated chicken and fried vegetables, all very good and tasty .. The price, reasonable .. A good choice!

I ordered through Uber eats and I think it's always more difficult to get a fair picture of the place. My first impression was how extremely fast my order was prepared which is not necessarily something positive when ordering a dish for 255 kr. Tastewise my Rogan Josh turned out to be OK but I felt like something is missing to lift up the sauce. It was not as flavourful as I experienced at my other favourite restaurants. The dish also came with a small soup and side salad which I think is really nice. There was supposed to be mango chutney but this was forgotten. The lamb was a bit too dry for me. The rice clearly not fresh or even close (which is usually ok but I think it had been sitting a little too many hours). Quality of rice also not the best, not so long grain basmati. I ordered close to closing time. Overall it was not bad but the quality fits in more at a around 130 kr Indian lunch place. Also the menu is super large, perhaps its better to focus on fewer dishes with higher quality.

Super Restaurant.

i can only imagine that most of these reviews are fake, I ordered dal puri and mughlai paratha and frankly i was surprised to see them on the menu, because most "indian" restaurants here are way below sub-par knowing only how to render an avergae version of the basic sauces, and these are somewhat offbeat dishes! not to my surpise, the dal puri was very likely just deforsted from a frozen brand they sell in indian supermarkets and was simply so disgusting! the amount they charge is obnoxious, its like they are makign a 80% profit with this kind of service, only heavens know what kind of "cooks" they hire...anybody they can get on a visa and plane, probably never been in a kitchen anywhere. next the mughlai paratha, wow! simply a deep fired flour with omeletter poorly cooked , and that cost 150! the quality was so poor they should be sued.

Loved it! The food was amazing. Service was awesome as well. I’m gluten free and I double checked with him that the mixed grill option I got was gluten free. They have a lot of vegetarian options, too. I loved the lentil soup they gave us as a starter. Would definitely go again!

Nice and friendly staff. Can be really busy during lunch. Not so impressed with food though. I ordered a mixed tallrik and it was average. Palak paneer and lamb was below average honestly. Naan was good.

The food is really great. This is only place in Europe, I have enjoyed the Sahi Lamb Biriyani (Its almost same or even better than the Biriyanis from Kolkata, India). I may prefer to have Biriyani from this restaurant, even compared to Arsalan, Aminia, Oudh or Alibaba of Kolkata, India. The amount of Lamb and the quality is really fabulous. The owner cum cook is really passionate about the art of cooking (not just on revenue), and that makes this place amazing. His bevabiour is also great with the customers. Other must tries are - Lamb Rejala (with rung) and Ras Malai. Really great.

A wonderful dinner after a long day of exploring museums. They have a beautiful patio with shade and incredible food at just the right price. The waiter was very patient with our trying to figure out what saon papdi was. So good!

Really kind, attentive and service minded staff. Delicious Indian food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy but a bit cheap, but in a charming way :)

We had an excellent Vegetarian Thali, samosas, and garlic naan for lunch. They have menus in English and our waiter was helpful and friendly. It is .6 miles from the Vasa Museum and about one mile to the cruise ship terminal where our ship docked so you can easily walk here. We greatly enjoyed our meal.

Stopped here after a movie at Filmhuset and was pleasantly surprised to find their menu is a bit different from the usual Indian restaurant menu - a bit of a Bengali twist. I ordered the lemon malai chicken (a mild Malay-influenced dish) on the waiter's recommendation and it was really good, interesting mix of flavors that definitely reminded me of Malay food as well as Indian! The food is North Indian in style but not as rich as at many places. Note that some dishes are very sweet, so ask the waiter if you are not looking for that. We also ordered the palak paneer pakora appetizer, which was not what I imagined from the description but was *incredibly* good, with a really wonderful and interesting mix of flavors. This is a slightly more upscale restaurant (they plate their food nicely!), so the appetizer came with only two super-delicious pieces. If you want to share appetizers you might want to order more than we did! I will definitely be back and can't wait to try more dishes that are new to me! A perfect way to follow up a movie at Filmhuset!

3.5/10 We ordered 1 garlic chicken tikka masala and it was literally tasting like chicken in honey and sugar. There was no spiciness, rather extremely sweet. There was an add on option to request paper utensils, but we never received it even after requesting. Other chicken we ordered was hot chicken masala and it was good.

Good Indian food, the naan was a bit dry but otherwise OK. A bit tight spaced between the tables.

Very nice clean cosy place. We ordered two different Thali and a Parotha each. Very happy with the delicate dishes like Paneer Ticka Masla, some Kofta, Tender Lamb and even crispy vegetables. The level of spice was just right for us, less than in India perhaps but enough for us. Service was very friendly and the chef came to check on us too.

We enjoyed three dishes to share with some extra naan bread among four people and we were full and very satisfied. The dhal in particular was really tasty. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a late lunch on a holiday. The decoration a fun mix of plastic plants and wine covering and some nice lamps. Relaxed, friendly service.
