Overall, a disappointing experience at this hotel. Poor check in experience initially, we were just asked to pay the bill so we could "check out faster" - that was the check in. Room was very dated, extremely hot (the hotel is too old for air-con and you cannot open the windows due to the noise). The hotel bar/club is directly below which goes on til the small hours, with people hanging around outside. This was Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Impossible to sleep. There are no black out blinds in the rooms so you're woken up at 430am. Emma, a staff member, attended to our complaints and kindly upgraded us but to a larger suite on the same floor which suffered the same issues (noise and heat and no black outs). She was very polite. There is also another nightclub which is opposite/right of the hotel which also is open until the small hours on Sunday night. If you're looking for a relaxing and quietly situated hotel, I would definitely not recommend this at all. A lot of money for a very poor experience and I need a holiday to get over this lack of sleep here. Other things to note - amenities are sparse, the rooms were not replenished everyday so we were left without shampoo and shower gel. The dressing gowns were old and falling aport. The slippers are small and only fit tiny feet- completely pointless. The shower was above a huge bath that was a design floor as you couldn't have a proper shower without the shower curtain sticking to you constantly.

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights here during our visit to Stockholm. The location was quite central, just 1 metro stop and 5 minutes walk away from the central station. The rooms and toilet were a little cramped though, and we had trouble moving around. Toilet was also hard to navigate and felt dangerous if you're standing to shower. In terms of comfort, the room fulfills the need. The service however, was excellent. The hotel helped us to safeguard our bag when we wanted to check out early. The breakfast spread was superb as well, and definitely worth it. If you don't mind a slightly cramped place, this hotel is more than adequate for its location and service. Made our trip in Stockholm memorable.

No air conditioning and incredibly small rooms . I can’t believe our tour company, VBT, put us here. There is nothing four star about this property. We would be more comfortable in an Ibis. Before the last makeover this might have been a comfortable hotel. There is no character to these tiny little rooms. I have done 14 tours with VBT. This is probably my last.

Central location, however the room is the size of a prison cell. It’s so loud outside. There was no shower gel in the bottle and wasn’t refilled either after room service. Towels were old and stiff and one had multiple stains on it. The iron didn’t work and took ages to replace it. The phone in the room didn’t work and they didn’t do anything about it despite multiple phone calls from my cellphone to the Mai desk. Hair dryer blew only cold air. And the safe was out of order, again despite multiple phone calls no action from the front desk. At check out the receptionist offers a 10% discount to make up for this whole horror story which I found to be amusing. I tried contacting the main customer service manager via email but gotten no response so far. All in all a terrible experience. Would never stay here again, for 200€ a night you can get better options in Stockholm. Update: got contacted by the manager and refunded one of the two nights to compensate for the deficit in the services which was nice. I therefore chose to improve the rating. Important to communicate with the management in such cases.

We stayed for 3 nights. The first night was fine, the remaining two far from fantastic. There is a very noisy bar/club with pounding music way past 1am. It was so loud, and I was so angry and tired, I don't even remember what time the music stopped. The receptionist was SURPRISED when we complained about it and wanted to change rooms to a higher floor and further from the club, even though you could have a party in the reception with all the music next door. We could only move one floor up, but the music was still shaking my organs. I wonder how the other guests are sleeping, or maybe they are out partying too? We did get the room at a discounted price, but it really wasn't worth it. The breakfast is horrendously mediocre too.

I am surprised by the negative reviews, left mostly by Americans whom I don't think quite understand European hotels. I had a single room which served its purpose beautifully. It was incredibly well fitted, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom though small, the quality of the finish was comparative to The Savoy or Ritz. It was incredible. I paid £360 for 6 nights which was incredible, for the location and quality of room. The only thing I didn't like about the location was it is a short 10 minute walk to the metro train. The girls on reception who greeted me were super friendly and offered to check me in 3 hours early. Breakfast was easily a 10 out of 10 for Scandinavia. The cleanliness of the room was absolutely perfect. Without a doubt one of the best hotels I've stayed at and I would be delighted to make Elite my first choice of hotel chain in Sweden. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

The rooms are not that big. But they were clean and you dont need that much when you are visiting a city! The location in the city is just perfect to explore the city by foot. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is very good but in the evening the bar/restaurant under the hotel is very loud and when you are going to sleep before 01:00 it is kind of loud in the rooms. But not the worst hotel to stay!

Stayed for 2 nights, 17-19 november. Great location and brekfast. A bit noisy, could not get any sleep on a friday night because of the nightlife. Toilet was dirty when we arrived. I always check under the sheet before i go to bed on the first night, and I found crumbles of food all over. The shower temperatur changed all the time.

Positive: - Clean - Breakfast Ok - Close to city centre Negative: - Absolutely tiny rooms - TV behind curtains (as room is so small) - No non-swedish TV channels

Amazing location really close to the main shopping area and central metro station. Lovely staff, breakfast was included but we were leaving really early so they gave us bags with breakfast to go.

I got what I paid for a single room.Pleasant and professional receptionists and staffs. Very good breakfast. great location for me. On the weekend nights it is noisy outside and I've used to open the windows for air, it did n't bother me that much thought. Overall a good experience. Many thanks to the Elite hotel Plaza.

Very poor service. The cleaning service did not manage to clean the room in three days. They always arrived late afternoon when we were back at the hotel, even though the room has been empty till 3 pm.

This was a perfect stay for my family. We were received very well at the reception, and even though I had made an error with the booking date, it was resolved without a hassle. The staff were highly professional and friendly, which made us feel quite at 'home'. The hotel room was also sufficiently equipped, including a baby bed which was quite a surprise. Thank you for the teddy for my baby! :-) Five stars.

Positive: -Location is great. Very close to the city centre and subway station (walking distance). Negative: -Very noisy. I had a room at the back side where delivery trucks come and go from 4am onwards. First I thought I had the window open but I hadn't. -Rooms are tiny -No individual airconditioning in the room. So sometimes it was too hot in the room -Breakfast was most of the days good but on the last day of my stay they had scrambled egg soup.. That is how watery the eggs were.. I stayed away from that as I had to fly back that day -Lights above the bed could not be switched off. Those small LEDS kept me awake. Have reported it to the reception. Probably only a problem in my room. -No kettle in the room. You could ask for one from the reception but there are no cups in the room either. Just glasses Conclusion: If you can sleep anywhere then this hotel is at a great location. If you need more space, and have a more quiet night to sleep I would not choose this hotel. I would rate this hotel not more than 3 stars. Especially as airconditioning is lacking.

Small Room, NO AC*****; I had a room on the third floor and had to take stairs to get to my room, with luggage, for US$179.00; I expected more from the property, breakfast is dark but has many options which made it great, but to get air you will have to open the window and all the noise from the street and the office building across street.

Be warned. This hotel is right next to some club playing loud music late into the nights. I would recommend from staying away from any hotel in the area tbh

Good food. Acceptable accommodation for a business trip. Small for a family. Noise from attached bar until late disrupted sleep

Clean room (mine was also spacious), friendly staff and good location. Decent breakfast. Deducting two stars for very poor network speed (wifi signal strength was good) and poor sound insulation.

Elite Plaza in Stockholm Downtown is perfectly situated with easy access to all of it. The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast sumptuous and good. Rooms clean and simply elegant, yet there is no much space for money paid- you pay for location next to beautiful Humlegården, the location is on the expensive side of the city. Breakfast restaurant is quite dark, but as said the breakfast itself is fantastic. There was som unevenness on service level during our stay and the night congierce was acting strangely, we never received our early- checkout breakfast boxes neither coffee as commited. This might be temporary, the day staff was professional and helpful, smiling, great representatives for the hotel.

The location is great, just quite noisy during the night from the street as a lot of bars around. The breakfast is avarage, use to be better before.

I liked the breakfast and if you want it quite take a Room which is not on the main street because in the night loud music is played. Else everything was alright

Great place! I recently stayed at Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza (2021-06-30) Reasonable pricing and everything is clean, modern and staff is very friendly. I love Anna that works in the reception, she is always so helpful kind and have a smile every time you see her! Location is amazing and close to everything.

Great location. You can reach else where in the central city by walk. Double room seems to be tight, but comfortable enough for a short staying. Bathroom is clean and feels fresh. I took away one star since the room has no cooling system except a huge window. If you will visit an exceptionally warm summer day, would better to book somewhere not in an antique building.

Lived on the fourth floor and still listening to the music from the bar on the base ground. Breakfast has a lot of choices for everyone and its perfect.

Nothing Elite about the hotel sadly - rooms are too cold, without a thermostat control. The superior room is super small and quite dark, so is the breakfast area - no daylight whatsoever makes it a depressing morning ritual. The breakfast itself is sparse, with pastries running out by 7.30 am on a weekday. Ended up moving to another hotel across the street!
