It would not be possible to find accomodation to match it's price to comfort ratio in the whole of Gamla Stan. Rooms were nice and quite spacious. The check in through an intercom was seamless and the person answering the call was nice. All the instructions were clear and simple. Bathrooms and showers were clean and in good condition. Beds' comfort was satisfactory and bedsheets and towels were provided in a room. The hostel was quiet and all the guests respected the rules. We met with two Canadian ladies and had a good chat during the evening, so it is possible to meet people there, even without huge common area.

It's a nice hostel right on Gamla Stan. If you stay for a weekend in Stockholm and don't need something very comfortable and special, you can book this hostel. It's very simple, but for us it was enough. There's a small shared kitchen and a shared bathroom. An extra toilet would have been nice, because if someone takes a shower nobody can use the toilet.

The location is excellent, easy to walk to from Central, and to get around all the tourist places. Close to the metro if you do need to take transit at some point. The rooms are tight, but have big windows. There are two rooms in the bathroom area which I can't imagine would be ideal. Mandatory linen, they charge automatically for it and it's extra on top of booking fee. There isn't much for a common area, there is a kitchen that can't be cooked in. So that's redundant. You have to be under 40 I guess for a 'safer' experience yet all the rooms are co-ed, so not sure what the age limit is for. There were only 2 small lockers in a room for 4, that would fit maybe a laptop bag, maybe. They don't come with locks and there are none available to rent from the hostel. The shower area is co-ed, each stall has a door but could be off putting to some. As far as the price goes, it's decent, but it's not a hostel to meet people or to do much more than sleep.

This is perfect hotel if you want the accommodation in the old town of Stockholm. From this point you will easily get everywhere. The room was clean and it also had heating, which is great for winter. The shared bathroom was also very clean.

As others have mentioned, their booking is a scam. If you book in advance, you should be aware that they might not accept your card some days before your trip, therefore cancelling your reservation. My guess is that they are overbooked for some dates or prices may have gone up since the booking was made. In any case, for your comfort and planning I wouldn't recommend booking your stay in STHLM in this place.

If you are coming for a short visit to Stohkolm and you only sleep in the room, then this place is perfect for you. The location is the best to see all the attractions around Stokholm. The rooms are small, but warm and comfy, whis is important especially when visiting during Winter. Showers and toilets are shared for all rooms on the floor. Hot water in showers. Bed sheets and towels are included in room price. I definitely recommend for a short stay!

***Warnning !!!!!! Warning !!! This hostel cancels the reservation at the last time on the pretext that your credit card does not work. However, they reserve the room for someone else with a more expensive price. As a result, you will find yourself looking for another hotel outside, especially if you have luggage and you arrive in the evening. attention bad experience and lost stay!

Really nice rooms and well... The location . Worth the price I had problems making the room dark at night ( when in June the sun rises at 4 in the morning... My sleep could have been better ). And .. the noise from the karaoke bar ... (Damn it Robbie Williams with your angel )

Booked a bed in a 4 mixed dormitory. Arrived at 10 am and the bed was ready even if I booked not more than 3 hours prior. They let me in. There is a Recepsion guy in the early morning hours that makes preparations for the day. Room is clean and bedsheets/towels are new and soft and very comfy bed. I had the upper bed in a bunk bed. Bed has a curtain to give you some more privacy. The bathrooms are shared but impressively clean. Location is top! And unmatched! There is a small kitchen but I didn’t use. And everything is lovely. Seems a little bit weird as a whole process of checking in/out but all good! I saved myself a lot of money and had a great experience. Ps. There are no Safe boxes tho, so I had no troubles since the most I shared the room was only one other guest, but you might take into consideration to not leave things behind if you’re out.

Booked on Booking and the hostel has canceled my booking because of an "invalid" credit card. Ok, after that I'v tried 3 different credit cards and the same message... 😞 So, the problem is not the credit card, the problem is with this hostel 😞 Don't ruin your vacation - don't book this hostel!!!! ✌️

Very dirty place. I found a cockroach and a rat in the trash in my room. There were hairs on the pillow and of course I couldn’t stay in that disgusting place. They never took over and I had to go somewhere else losing the money and booking in another .

Very clean, lovely hostel. Would recommend for a quiet stay in Stockholm. No parties or loud activities permitted so probably not your kind of place if that's what you're into. No stove.

The rooms are fine, but there is only one shower in the second floor for 4+ rooms. It is also a bit inconvenient that the shower head cannot be removed. Otherwise, the location is ideal.

I highly do not recommend this hotel/hostel. They cancelled my reservation 2 days before my arrival without no reason... When I tried to contact them, no one replied either by phone or by message.

Started badly, no one there, then told to come back with no place to leave big bag. Nowhere to hangout, no cooking to facilities, very stuffy and no outdoor place.

Very clean and tidy hotel. Unlike ordinary cheap hostels, this hotel maintains a maximum of personal space. The public area is limited to a kitchen on the third floor (no public space in the second floor), where you can communicate with other travelers. If you want to meet friends from all over the world through this, it is basically impossible, unless he lives in a room with you. The reception staff were welcoming and were willing to provide you with all kinds of information.

Correct place to stay for one night, you clearly not stay all day long in this room as it is quite small. The bed linnen were not made, however the public spaces were clean. Also, there is no reception...

They gave us a different room than we booked. You cannot call the customer service so we walked back to the entrance door to talk to the 'host' trough the doorbell. After a discussion they gave us a room in the Castle House Inn hotel.

It is located in the old town of stockholm, thus it is really convenient. Everything is all right with such price. Bed linens and towels are provided for renting.

I booked 2 nights in March of 2020 to attend to a concert in Stockholm. But it turned to be the first lock-down because of the Covid19, and the concert was suddenly cancelled, and the flights too. I contacted several times with the hostel to explain the situation, but they refused to reimbourse my money, even when I couldn't go because of a reason which was not a decision of mine. 2 years later the hostal still doesn't give my money back. So I will denounce this establishment, as I've been informed that I have the right to get it back, same as the airways had to do it because of judges decision. I won't stop till you refund my money.

Zentral gelegenes Hostel mit stressfreien check in bzw check out Verfahren. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt. Das einzige was hier stört sind die ständigen Warnungen vor Strafgebühren wenn man was falsches macht. Zb den Rauchmelder auslösen würde 2100 Euro kosten was ziemlich unrealistisch hoch ist. Oder das Bett falsch überziehen kostet 100 Euro, da ist man sogar beim Bundesheer besser hinweg gekommen.
