Rosendal Palace is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of a lush oasis. This enchanting palace offers a glimpse into Swedish history and architecture while surrounded by stunning gardens that seem straight out of a fairy tale. Stepping onto the palace grounds is like stepping into a world of elegance and charm. The beautifully preserved rooms and interiors give you a taste of royal life from a bygone era, with exquisite details that truly captivate the imagination. However, it's not just the palace that leaves a lasting impression; the surrounding gardens are equally enchanting. A stroll through the meticulously landscaped grounds is a true sensory delight, with vibrant colors, aromatic scents, and the gentle rustling of leaves creating a peaceful atmosphere. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a serene escape, Rosendal Palace offers a harmonious blend of both. It's a perfect spot to unwind, immerse yourself in the beauty of the past, and find solace in the serenity of nature.

This is a cute little palace in the middle of beautiful garden. We basically just wandered in while walking around Kungliga djurgården not expecting much. The guided tour was about to start so we decided to join in. Me and my wife were the only people there for english tour, so we got a private guided tour. We learned a lot about Swedish royal history and some very interesting tidbits about the monarchy. The palace itself is beautiful and since it's not at all crowded, it was a refreshing experience compared to bigger grander palaces.

Quaint castle with a lot of history mostly about the Bernadottes and how they came to Sweden to wisely rule the country and make it great again. The guide we had was excellent and the rooms on show well furnished and fantastic condition.

Castle is well-maintained and quite small - but full or historically significant details. Honestly the best of part of the experience was the guided tour - the English tour was great and the tour guide was immensely knowledgable and gladly explained the significance of the many elements in the castle with added Swedish history context.
