Melanderfish in Alvik delivers. Divine haddock for lunch. Pleasant staff who provide good service. The only thing - is the price of the non-alcoholic beer SEK 48

Location is tidy and well kept. Atmosphere is lively. Ordered Swedish meatballs and a crawfish pie. The meatballs were very tasty. The pie was only ok. There is an open salad bar and bread section with good quality options.

Always eat the sushi here. Best in the area in my opinion and a perfect balance between finer and simpler sushi. A bit of a shame that you can't buy it in the evening.

Good food, but sometimes not a Vegan friendly restaurant... and the price, I paid 115 for this tiny salad (Check the photo)

Friendly service even during peak season. Spacious and fresh venue. Great pickled herring. I have always enjoyed the food from Melanders.

Perfect place for lunch.

Unfortunately nothing to recommend. In the past, there was salad as a side dish, but this has now been removed. Stupid and sad for the customer experience. The portions are also very stingy, and hardly anything green at all on the plate (if you ignore the sprig of parsley). Unfortunately you have lost me as a customer, in the future I would rather go to Bistro Garros.

Long waiting time and low value for the money. Me and my wife had to wait for 45+ minutes for our food. Totally fine if this would have been dinner, but it was lunch from their lunch menu - not ok IMO. I ordered Moules Frites, my wife Smoked salmon salad with eggs and spring vegetable salad. Both my "moules" and my "frites" were cold - and my wife got her salad without any eggs and with bitter broccoli. Price was 300 sek for both dishes - IMO not good value for a lunch in a suburban. We will certainly not be back again.
