Really a great spot for coffee! Johan & Nyström has been around for years, and was for a long time the best coffee in town. It may indeed still be, with a wide variety of brewing methods from which to choose, a bunch of different beans to purchase, and ample seating indoor and out for those who want to get some work done. WiFi is fast and the staff are very friendly.

Nice place, mediocre coffee. Limited bakery options. Almost half of my cup was spilled by the waitress in front of me. She just wiped it off carelessly and gave it to me. The other waiter also seemed not so nice when I wanted him to explain whats inside of the sandwiches. There were no English menu which could made everything easier.

My favourite coffee point in Stockholm! Very, very nice team! Cool people work here and do the best. They are busy, but clean the tables fast, pick up all dirty cups in the bucket 😁 and smile))) thanks for all your efforts! Coffee? Rich taste, very good roasted and brewed. For the same price with very simple bakeries with cheep beans here you will get the TRULLY COFFEE!

Good spot for a coffee that’s outside of the main busy areas of Stockholm. Very relaxed atmosphere, few locals working on laptops. Only downside for us was the lack of vegan food, a couple raw sweet treats, that’s it.

Very nice quite open space. Large windows with seats and adjustable tables were just amazing. Members of the staff were kind and communicative. It was nice to see them smiling and enjoying their day. Very friendly atmosphere. While choosing which beans to buy we were offered help and proper information. We had coffee and croissant, which was perfect. The croissant was sweet just enough and not dry at all. I would have it for breakfast every day if I could.

3 stars just for the cosiness of this place. You know, there are some specialty coffee guides. Well, sometimes they are mistaken. The coffee I had here was a huge disappointment, the cinammon roll was average. The espresso was bitter, as if I ordered some sort of cheap Italian roast. The only good thing was the drip coffee, which turned out to be awesome. The vibe of the coffee spot is cosy. Inclusivity in everything is fantastic. Overall, lots of room for improvement.

I have this misconception about large coffee shops. I always think they are going to underperform. This one is an exception. The baristas here know what they are doing. My oat cappuccino was balanced and tasty. Fun terrace outside for people watching.

Came for the coffee. They seem to roast their own coffee.(?) 200cc (?) flat white, medium roast, tasty and satisfying👍. The bröd was dense.

The best coffee I've had in Stockholm, definitely an ideal spot for fika time. Don't leave without stopping by here.

Great coffee drinks and lots of outdoor seating on warm days. Cozy indoor space, great for chilling with a book or computer for awhile. I tried their rhubarb/matcha iced drink which was delicious.

No wonder it is the best in Stockholm. Amazing coffee and great selection of beans. The Flat White was very rich 👌🏼

Best coffee I drank in Stockholm and I tried a lot. 😁 The advice on the choice of coffee beans was very helpful.

I like the idea and the design, the place it self located at a nice spot anyway. They works with a Victoria Arduino. The baristas seemed like very young and inexperienced; they did not even could make a standard foam for a flat white. So overall they have great atmosphere, but the coffee was below average in the category. What a pity.

Poor matcha latte with clumps of matcha still in the drink. Would pass for home made but underwhelming and close to poor for a store that promotes it self to be a speciality store of coffee and tea. The amount of matcha also comes off as cheap when paying over 50 sek for it. Had a better matcha latte at Starbucks with more generous amounts of matcha at a similar price point. The ice coffee was good but not amazing and saves the grade from being two stars.

Overly priced and I got cappuccino which wasn't hot. But pastry and cinnamon bun was good. But again I'm very disappointed for the cappuccino which is served COLD! I went there by reading good reviews. It doesn't make any sense how come they got so many good reviews!

My favorite coffee shop! Their coffee is really good and well made. There are tables on the windows in the corner, which is a great place to relax. Lastly, the staff was super nice! One of the avocado toasts we ordered had cheese, so they exchanged it for free for me (I'm lactose intolerant).

Been to many but, this is probably one of the best coffee shops I've ever been too. Great coffee, avocado and egg on toast is amazing. Had to grab a cinnamon bun before leaving with too. Reasonably priced, friendly service. Cannot recommend enough if you're near by. 👍🏻

Lovely place, great coffee, kind and friendly staff - single crewed on opening at 7am. Have decaf - great taste. Quirky interior and decent calm music playing.

Good latte, great specialty coffee assortment straight from the producer and good sweet buns!

Great V60, great location. Got nothing to complain about, enjoyed my stay.

  • 2/5 Alina Y. 2 years ago on Google
It was rather a disappointing experience, not because the place is actually that bad, but because we had much higher expectations. Food is very plain. Just like that. You get tastier and more satisfying sandwiches at a railway station in Germany. Overnight oats also didn't have any taste at all. Cappuccino with pineapple notes was interesting at first, but turned disgusting as it got colder. Their coffee beans might be great, but I wasn't sure about getting any after not liking the roast in my cup.

Excellent coffee in a charming ambiance.

The coffee shop is cosy. The atmosphere in the afternoon was casual. The brewed coffee was good. The pineapple flavored coffee was not to my taste. The staff was not really interested in serving they were busy among themselves

It is almost an iconic cafe in stockholm. Colorful vibe is super nice and there is always nice people around. Super good coffee...

Beautiful helpful people, great coffee, and you can buy all that filter coffee and cool tea you want. Even the smaller drip coffee packages for re-enacting the experience at home! Be coming back soon! 🥰

Super Kaffee und für uns ganz toll: Hunde dürfen mit rein (in Schweden keine Selbstverständlichkeit)

  • 5/5 Alina T. 2 years ago on Google
The interior has a lot of pillows near the windows where you can comfortably enjoy fika. The breakfast was one of the best - try the croissant with avocado or egg sandwich. And also the cardammon roll has very intense taste. Definitely coming back.

The cup of coffee I was served was not that great. Disappointing froth and somehow it had a sour aftertaste. I went there 40 minutes before closing so maybe that is the reason but that's how it was

The place is very nice and the location is great, had an amazing Geisha V60, and a very nice conversation with the baristas there. I will definitely visit again whenever I'm back in Stockholm

Cute place, nice coffee (pretty good but not the best in the area)

  • 1/5 Noemi N. 2 years ago on Google
Years ago, this was the best coffee place in Stockholm. I did my barista training here almost ten years ago. I went here recently, first time in a few years, and was very disappointed. The coffee was the worst I've ever had. We had a cappuccino and a filter coffee and both were bitter and awful. I asked for a new cappuccino, as it was undrinkable, and the new one was even worse than the first one. Sad to see this place isn't what it was. Avoid.

Probably the Best Coffee Shop in Sweden! Johan&Nyström was a pioneer in Specialty Coffee and great teas ☕️🍵 One must is the Kokochino! A vegan cappuccino with coconut 🥥 oil! Addictive. Ranked in several magazines as one of the best coffee shops in the World!

I have tested many places for coffee in Stockholm, this one really stands out and that’s why the review! It is a great place South Stockholm, really chill area with beautiful buildings. I had a latte and it was really excellent. Loads of locals were having a brunch on the terrace. Go there you will love it!

Coffee classics and unique food options - you can actually get a strong breakfast here if that's what you're looking for. The stuffed croissant was an instant favorite, enjoy it in one of the cute side-lounges inside.

Stylish, relaxed cafe with good coffee and plenty of tea options also. Plenty of casual seating inside, light and airy, it's a quiet and welcoming place to hang out even if you are solo. Quite a lot of seating outside also and it is in a nice area on a picturesque street.

Stopped in for a cappuccino and a quiet place to read. Super hip and cozy with unique seating! Good coffee and nice staff!

  • 5/5 Taisia M. 1 year ago on Google
Fantastic flat white with oat milk! Good selection of drinks. The best cardamon bun so far! Adding a couple of vegan options, cakes/sandwiches, would be great.

  • 4/5 Евгений . 1 year ago on Google
Great coffee and atmosphere, but was quit surprised when bought here a pack of filter coffee for 180 sek and then found the same in Hemköp for 130 sek only.

  • 5/5 Easy A. 1 year ago on Google
It wasn't the best flat white in my life, but the atmosphere and a level of kindness was incredibly high! A big choice of coffee beans, that smell amazing.
