Beirut Café

Restaurant Catering service Middle eastern restaurant Lebanese restaurant

👍 We visited this cafe in the hopes of trying their lamb chops but unfortunately was not on the menu at that time due to the Covid restrictions. Their grilled chicken both in the salad & paired with potatoes was really good. Great service. Small space so it can get full most of the time. I experienced sloppy and stressful service, and a meze mix that was far from what it is usually associated with Beirut Café… I was really disappointed with the tasteless food, and especially the lousy service. 👎 Find somewhere else to eat and enjoy .. don’t waste your time and your money here ..

I'm surprised by the many negative reviews. Our experience in Sept 2022 was very good. The lunch prices were comparable to what we've paid throughout Stockholm. My meal was amazing; fresh, full of flavor, & probably the most memorable meal over our 8 days here.

Both incredible food and service. Very nice setting and recommendations from the servers! I’ll be back every time I’m in Stockholm.

A small and tightly packed place. The food was far from authentic Lebanese cuisine. The portions were a bit small and the grill food was over cooked. The Mhamara and cauliflower dishes though were good! The food I general flavorful yet different from menu description and Lebanese cuisine. Not returning any time soon. The journey to find the best Lebanese restaurant in Stockholm continues...

I've traveled all throughout Europe and this is the best meal I've had anywhere. I can't recommend this place enough. The people here are also extremely welcoming and nice.

honestly kind of a scam. there is a part inside the actual market where you can take food to go, this cafe that is on the street and another restaurant above that opens after five. the menu is TINY compared to the food in the market, just salads?? the waiter who might've also been the manager told us he'd make a mezze plate for us, he gave us kind of scam vibes, immediately gave my dad the most expensive red wine. the food was okay but nothing amazing how middle eastern food is known to be. falafel, tabouleh, hummus, vine leaves, some fried beef couscous balls. all kind of bland. cocktails 16 euros, the hugo is not worth it. spent over 100 euros but it was worth more like 30, theres far better places to eat inside the market if you eat fish/meat.

Unbelievable! We made a reservation for the restaurant tonight more than two month ago. Since then we got several e-mails with confirmations and reminders (latest one today!). As we arrived tonight a security-guy at the door sends us away... The restaurant is closed two weeks due to holiday. As we said him, how irritated we are about this he answered the holiday are planned long ago due to renovation... Strange and very annoying way to treat guest-reservations!

Beirut café is an solid spot for Lebanese-food loving vegans! Highly recommend the baba, hummus, warak inab, and falafel. Perfect takeaway for a picnic 🤟. Many items are also gluten free.

We had a group of 8 and did the mezze platter. The food was all outstanding and the energy of the place is great. The wait staff was tops!

Fantastic restaurant in a beautiful market hall. We had the mezze tasting menu and every single dish was delicious. Fortunately the wait staff had recommended we go with “only” the mezze rather than add the grill option as the mezze would be plenty of food by themselves. They were right. Great service, super friendly people and excellent food - definitely worth every single krone. We’ll come back.

Popped in just to grab some coffee, but decided to eat as well. Service was fantastic, and the food was really good. Salad, a grilled wrap, with tea, coffee, and tips rounded up to about 40 euro. Vegetarian options available also!

Good Lebanese Restaurants are a treasure. Great Lebanese Restaurants are an experience not to be missed. Beirut Café is a great Lebanese Restaurant and when in Stockholm I can unreservedly recommend that you visit and sample their excellent, top quality menu. The staff is friendly, attentive, multi-lingual and patient. Excellent selection of exquisite Lebanese wines which they will be happy to discuss to customize your culinary experience.

The food is as per the expected minimum, clean, simple but nothing to remember. Also be wary if in a bigger company as they tend to skimp on the portions (especially the asorted meats). Any refills will come at an added cost.

Good and tasty food. The place was a bit too small and busy, it was hard to move and get out of the table without disturbing others.

I went for lunch with my wife. I had a grilled sandwich and my wife had a chicken salad. Food was average and the place is very small and cramped. We knew about thew size beforehand of course but the building it is in is lovely - there are lots of place to eat in here so well worth a visit.
