Just had dinner at their new location which is modern and roomy. We all had the flounder tartar (ceviche) as starter and the whole dish as main. They were both really delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and it was very tasty. All four of us were very satisfied with both dishes.

Today my wife went to Melanders in Söderhallarna to buy lobster for Valentine's Day. The person behind the counter opened with "are you with the old couple over there, or?", Instead of saying for instance: hello, how can I help you today? Apparently, he could not believe that a brown person has the means to buy seafood, but must be the humble assistant to a white couple. Once, there were worms in the fish I bought there, but I decided it was a natural occurrence that can be excused. This, however, is inexcusable. I will never shop in Melanders again, and I advise you to stay away, too, if you don't want to support racism.

Nice environment and professional staff. Open spaces and a good space to sit and enjoy well cooked food. The restaurant is specialized in seafood. My food was very tasty and delicious. Prices are slightly higher compared to other Swedish lunch restaurants, but in return they are offering good quality.

Not the best environment but definitely superb service minded waiters. I’ve tried couple of dishes, most of them were good, fresh seafood, decent presentation, however quite small portions for the price. Had fish and chips once and the fish was dry.

Service was decent, but not up to par with its acclaimed reviews. The restaurant had a dim, cramped vibe that didn't match expectations. The dish I had, Melanders fisk- och skaldjurssoppa med het rouille (185 KR), was flavorful. Overall, I won't return due to the importance of ambience and service in a dining experience.

Amazing food ! Not the most romantic spot but it’s really worth it.

New location and new menu. Tried the bar menu which was nice. Working on them to add a "strömming macka/smørrebrød" ;-)

Nice place with very nice fish dishes

The service was good, but not the quality you would expect from a restaurant that’s attached to a seafood shop, could be much better.

The food really deserves more than 3 stars and the wine list is fair enough, but the service is sometimes a bit slow and the prices are higher than a visit is worth.

Expensive but verry Good place

Amazing restaurant! I ordered the Baltic herring and it was cooked perfectly. I personally am not a huge fish fan but decided to venture with a more unfamiliar but traditional food and I was not disappointed. Great seafood and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would 100% recommend checking this place out when visiting Stockholm!
