Very authentic omakase experience with locally sourced ingredients for an extremely modest price. Highly recommended!

I have been here six times now and I can wait to go back! Everything in this place gives the feel of a real Japanese sushi restaurant! From the environment, to the food. The food is delicious and never the same, the Chef prepares the dishes based on what was availabe fresh that day. This translates in food of great quality and taste, furthermore every time there is a new experience! I also love the selection of Japanese beers and sake! Most likely the best sushi place in town, definitely to try!

A cozy omakase place which has only 6 place for each seating. Before the sushi part, we have been offered several other dishes mainly from the local environments in Scandinavia. My favourites were scallop and oyster. Sushi’s were also nice, reminded the ones from Japan. And the seating was concluded with a matcha ice cream. Definitely recommended the omakase experience blended with locally sourced flavours.

We’ve tried a few of the Omakaze’s in Stockholm and none of them can compete with Sushi Oi. The food was sublime and we noticed that a lot of attention has been put on the small things. Here you’ll find interesting flavor combinations (the monkfish liver simmered in red wine was mesmerizing), well thought out sequence of dishes, just right amount of sauces/garnishing, well balanced rice etc. Also, the two gentlemen running the intimate 6 seat sittings exude omotenashi - an outmost care for their guests. Glad we got a pair of seats last minute. We will surely be back!

The quality and variety continues to impress. This is one of the top sushi omakase in Stockholm, no doubt about it.

I haven't been at the restaurant yet but I've eaten take out from Sushi Oi a few times and it's been wonderful each time. One of the few places in Stockholm that serve Sushi the right way, the japanese way.

Such a lovely and unique take on omakase. Japanese influence with fish from Iceland and Europe/Scandinavia- can’t recommend enough.
