Tasting Menu: - Great service - Great portions (You will not leave hungry. I recommend to not eat too much of the rice for a tasting experience) - Mostly superb food with good variety - Southeastern food was represented well. 5/5 in terms of overall satisfaction. 4/5 in terms of the tasting experience compared to other Michelin Guide restaurants.

Farang is huge, noisy and busy. We had the signature menu and thought the flavors were pretty good, but the execution of dishes very inconsistent and pacing a bit rushed. You could tell this is a place where they try to serve as many people as they can per night (which is understandable). Overall ok but felt it was slightly pricey for what was being offered.

Amazingly tasty Asian fusion, terrific and attentive service, great atmosphere (if a bit loud in the main dining hall). Huge wine selection and knowledgeable sommelier. We had the tasting menu, which was absolutely spectacular, and plenty of food per person. It's definitely a pricey place, but worth a try if you can spend a bit more for dinner.

Exquisitely crafted dishes. An explosion of flavors. Huge restaurant, great service, friendly staff. Sometimes hard to book a table, but it’s worth it.

Great atmosphere! I was absolutely amazed by the tastes. I recommend going with 3 different dishes (1 individual and 2 shared). Portions are more than enough and taste-wise you will be amazed. Nice selection of wines as well. Prefer to sit on the "bar" tables if you do not like the noise

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been at in Stockholm, the signature menu brings you the flavours of all cuisines from southeast Asia, and one small tip: make you sure you order the chicken satay extra, its out of this world 😍

Loved the vibe and food. Such unique concept about so many dishes, particularly how they are served. I totally loved the masamman curry with roti, it’s a must try side order. Also the starters were unique and served on the edible leaf. Desserts were also yummy, like this fresh coconut flavor icecream and fresh mint.

Perfection! We had the tasting menu which was wonderful! The variation was great and it was extremely well balanced. Instead of the wine pairing menu we had a few cocktails which were fun, a bit too sweet for my taste... The service was friendly, which is what I like when I'm out to have fun.

Great twist to Thai cuisine.. Very large portion sizes meant to be shared. Very friendly staff.

"An Asian cuisine restaurant. We ordered a set. Cons: not everything was to my liking; the menu took a long time. The pork in sweet sauce was overly sweet, couldn't find a good pairing to neutralize the aftertaste. Wines were too expensive, and the quality wasn't great (Sauvignon Blanc from France was uninteresting, and there was none from the New World). Generally, for such prices, there should be a sommelier, which this restaurant lacked. I gave slightly higher ratings, but really it should have been lower

Wow! Perfect tastings on all the food! So good and Great service. When crowded the sound could be little high, but interior design, bar, menu even the restroom was top notch! Little too expensive for me, but after tastings the food, it was worth going here to celebrate my birthday! I even got an extra dessert with a little birthday candle o top! So nice of them even though I never said anything when booking the table and a friend just pointed it out when we arrived to the restaurant. Recommend to visit!!!

It’s a bit in costlier side.. but once you see the portion sizes and the taste, it feels totally reasonable. Vegan options available. Loved the vibe as well.

Really great pan-Asian restaurant. Best coconut ice cream I’ve ever had! Would be better if there was a bit more light in the restaurant!

Its so rare that everything is perfect in one place. Enchanting atmosphere from the very step to the dining room. You might expect snobbish service people in such posch looking place. Buuuuuut ... All you find is very very friendly and knowledgeable service. However, these are only the service. The real stuff, beyond this world experience starts with the first bite of the food. This is Asian food touching heavens before entering your mouth. The dancing of spices and ingredients will mesmerize you and from that point on you will always wanna come back here again

We went there for a special birthday dinner, ordered from that several meals in one menu. Quite expensive, but the food is very fancy and delicious. The fork was dirty when it arrived. Children's menu has great affordable options, so that is nice. It was quite busy and we booked an early dinner to get a spot.

The service was fantastic and made you feel welcome. The food was delicious and very though out and I got stuffed. The atmosphere was super cozy! Bit pricey but you really get what you are paying for. Perfect for special occasions or romantic dinners.

My visit to Restaurang Farang in Stockholm in March was a culinary journey beyond expectations! On a snowy day in the city, the restaurant proved to be a true gem, offering an impeccable selection of signature dishes that showcased the chef's mastery. Dining with my closest people in the cozy ambiance was a joy. The intimate setting enhanced our shared experience of delectable appetizers and mouthwatering main courses, creating cherished memories in a warm and inviting space. However, the lively atmosphere, while adding to the vibrancy, was a tad louder than expected. The wine selection deserves accolades; it perfectly complemented the diverse menu, curated by an adept sommelier. The thoughtfulness in pairing wines with each dish elevated the dining experience. Beyond the culinary excellence, the restaurant's design exuded modernity and style, contributing to the overall sophistication. Despite the minor noise inconvenience, Restaurang Farang remains a five-star destination, promising an unforgettable gastronomic adventure. I look forward to revisiting this establishment to savor more of its culinary delights against the backdrop of Stockholm's snowy charm.

Location/ Ambiente dunkel gehalten, wirklich sehr Stylisch. Bedienungen sehr zuvorkommend mit super Beratung. Preis wirklich sehr sehr gehoben. Essen wirklich köstlich und einzigartige Variationen.

Very good food and friendly staff. We took their tasting menu and loved it, good mix of different flavors. A bit pricey, but in my opinion, worth it.

The food is delicious but for me it was not the right atmosphere for such an expensive restaurant. I felt like I paid a lot of money to eat in a canteen. The cocktails were the best I have had in Stockholm.

Das Ambiente ist echt schön. Sehr guter Service!

⭐️WOW⭐️ We got the vegetarian tasting menu made vegan and were amazed. I wasn’t a fan of the the first course round, but everything else was 100% delicious. The satay and the yellow curry were my favorites. Great ambiance too.

The restaurant is beautiful. The staff is very kind and professional. The food is delicious, it is a whole experience. The flavors are a incredible mix in your mouth. We were 2 people and ordered 3 plates: 1 fresh “food share” (sashimi) and 2 warm “food share” (pork and beef). It was a LOT of food for 2 people, def you should only order 2 plates. The drinks are also very good 😀 100% recommended if you want to try something different.

Wir have been treated to an exceptional dinner at Farang by our business partners. Yet another crossover style (open) kitchen with a leaning towards Asian cuisine. The service and time span between ordering and getting plates on the table was remarkably, or rather short, given the fact that it could be labeled a highly frequented "in" restaurant in Stockholm. The special prok belly dish was outstanding to say the least.

My first time visiting Farang, ordered the signature menu and I must say that the food, cocktails & service were exceptionally great! The atmosphere was a bit too noisy and packed for my taste.

Very good, but roti was a disaster, too thin and very greasy. Palm sugar pork extremely sweet like a dessert. Red curry lovely but also too sweet. Leaf incredible and so was the sashimi and coconut ice cream. The stir fry too sweet again. They should go easy on the sugar.... the softshell crab a bit bitter as it was left in to fry too long. The salad with it incredible. Would return but avoid too sugary dishes. Heard the menu has not changed much for past 8 years. Wines great, whisky sour good as well.

The venue is dimly lit. So it has rather "mysigt", cosy romantic candlelit vibes minus the candles. The tables are also kind of small and close together. Suitable for intimate dinners. Though, there are spotlights individually directed to you can see all the food. The menu felt like upscale comfort food with comparatively affluent pricing... but it is not really fine dining. So it kind of feels mismatched to the rest of the ambience. But if you enjoy the Asian food palate, it's a pretty solid meal. South East Asian fusion cuisine but the flavours are very familiar, almost pedestrian. The crispy pork signature dish lacked depth but was still deliciously sticky and moreish. If you get the tasting menu, highlights include the sashimi and cha plu leaf dishes. The roti was kind of crumbly? a bit too thick, stiff and 'stale-y'. Almost like they did not add enough water to the dough. The mocktails were alright. The lychee flavour in mine was actually really decent, sad it was drowned out by the accompanying mint flavour. The young coconut icecream is probably the best coconut ice cream I've had in Scandinavia.

Heard good things about the place and decided to try. Also not typical easter dinner so something for variation. Place quite big, lightning and decor definitely not typical asian. More like modern hip restaurant. Ordered their signature tasting menu, which is about 760+ kr per person without the drink package. Waiter recommended extra +55 to include the ribs and he got me already on the first word ”ribs”, which was definitely worth it! Food excellent and even the lamb and duck, which I am never fan of. Service extremely efficient and friendly. Felt that they keep constant oversight that you do not lack anything. Definitely recommend and also to take the tasting menu on first visit.

Very good food! We enjoyed the tasting menu which was amazing. I was a bit dissapointed by the wine package though - it did not fit the food and I would recommend to get a beer.

A truly memorable meal at a special restaurant serving Southeast Asian cuisine. From the service (hope you get Markus!) to the decor to the food, it’s all worth a visit! And not a drop of mayo or a herring in sight.
