I was looking for place to grill by the lake and near public transportation, and I found this naturreservat. This place is perfect. It combination of lakes, marsh and forest. The walking path is mix between a good path and natural path. Really closr to public transportation, by the green line or bus. People can swim at some spot. There are two public grill place by the water. There are a lot of descriptions of animals and myths around the walking path.

Great place to go for a walk in nature and take a break from the city! Right now many paths are covered with a layer of ice, so be careful.

Lovely little reserve. Wouldn't go out of the way to get here but for those living locally it's a great wood to explore with a lake and fields. Spots to grill and picnic and enjoy the tranquility.

Really amazing nature park. It's wild and beautiful. There is a forest, lake and a lot of birds. You can walk, sit or even picnic there. One of the best places in Stockholm to visit.

A breathtaking oasis among the suburban surroundings that delivers peace and space all seasons, but perhaps most notably in summer and fall. There are trails of different types criss-crossing the forest, inviting for strolls, running, exploration, and rest. Signage along the walkpaths tell of the natural history and landscape in the reserve as well as of the importance of actions for biodiversity.

Beautiful for run, walk, trail. A large area with water bodies. We also discovered a very good garden that encourages social gardening.

Fantastic nature and well curated walking paths worth a long journey. Only downside is that a lot of people utilise the paths for jogging and it's not really that wide or accessible. The nature is stunning in it's beauty and there are several rest stops and information signs along the way. I highly recommend brining hot chocolate and sandwiches along so you can prolong your visit and truly enjoy the environment around you!

Nice area to walk in or ice skating. With a sleepy hollow feeling in late autumn as an extra bonus.

A peaceful oasis a few steps from the train stop. The wall around the entire lake is beautiful, well worth exploring!

Beautiful nature area with a great lake for a swim or for ice-skating and cross-country skiing in winter (good maintenance from the municipality). Also nice fire facilities. No wood present however as far as we have seen. Get there by a five minutes walk from the parking at the camping.
