Fantastic Italian restaurant, just like I remember from years ago. Great food at proper prices.Family friendly with a great atmosphere. Everything run like clockwork as the boss had his eye on the whole operation and it really made a difference. Highly recommended 🙂

Grabbed a takeaway from here as our usual place was unfortunately closed. Wish we hadn’t bothered. Although you get really generous portions, the food really wasn’t all that nice! I’m not sure how people say they do the best ever parmos. It’s the worst ones we’ve had to date! The chips didn’t taste great either. The only part I enjoyed was the salad! Literally 5 mins after having a few bites my stomach went into cramp and what I had ate came straight out the other end more than once. Really disappointed and feels like a HUGE waste of money! Never again!!!

First time here. Meal with friends. Comfortable surroundings. Good menu with a few veggie and fish options. I had a salmon ravioli and my OH had spinach and ricotta tube pasta bake and garlic bread. All really good and good portion size. For dessert we had cheesecake which was nice - the pouring cream was lovely - don't know where they source that from. Reasonably priced. We would definitely go again.

Borge's what could I say? Amazing food. There was three of us and we were seated downstairs for our valentine's Day Meal. We were greeted perfectly and drinks ordered and then we ordered starters and mains. Starters were spot on. Amazing tastes, Garlic Mushrooms were lovely and the potato skins were really tasty and cooked well. Everyone's mains were great I had the penna pecanta and the girls had spaghetti Bolognese Perfectly clean plates. We also all had desserts and all were great, I had ordered a sticky toffee sponge pudding my wife had cream burley and our little one had brownies the were really tasty and a great way to end the night. To summarize I would really recommend borge the food was great and always good value for money with the portion sizes. It was clean and tidy. The food was served quickly and it was tasty.

First time visit with my repeating customer girlfriend. I was thoroughly impressed with Borge's staff, service and food. I can see why they have been awarded best parmos, it was fantastic and my partner was able to bring her left over half home after. Very good value for money, brilliant service, prompt and fast, friendly, fresh and tasy food. Chicken still moist, thick sauce, beautiful home made food.

Absolutely amazing food, second to non-perfect service and food. A true Italian restaurant not like a lot of the big commercial restaurants out there that cook food from a plastic packet, this is real Italian food if you know it. Fresh food, sure there's a bit of a wait compared to your average, franchise or commercial Italian restaurant but you know you're getting real Italian food, that's worth every Penny. I have traveled from Derby at times just to eat at this restaurant which is a 2.5 hour drive. I do often get a take out but well worth it when I'm up there.

Best restaurant in the North East. Been going there for over 30 years since first moved to Stockton.

Waitresses and waiters look about 16. Rude attitude. Autistic man came in for food and clearly had communication issues and all they did was give him dirty looks. Food has gone down hill, not very nice at all! Would avoif all together and save your money

Fantastic service, food was great, company was a bit hit and miss, highly reccomend this venue, just avoid going with people you're not that keen on or double your omeprazole to avoid indigestion. Will definitely be returning with less people.

Quite a dark and dingy place. First visit, but wasn't overly keen on the restaurant. Maybe if we had been seated elsewhere I might have got a better feel for the place. Food ok.

Been going here for a long time, and me and the kids love it, never had a bad meal, even had my daughters 18th birthday meal there recently. The food is delicious and if you order their parmo, you might need a doggy bag 😋 This place has been open since the mid eighties I believe, and that is in itself some achievement! Original owner Faz (I think that's his name) is a true gentleman, always polite and welcoming, and the staff are helpful and friendly, and there is always a warm, happy atmosphere. Just goes to show how popular Borge is, especially with the number of restaurants that have opened and closed in Stockton in its lifetime. Thank you!

We went for meal this restaurant for the first time. Absolutely disgusting food. Burger bun was burnt, all the salad looked awful. I had belly ache after eating the food. The coke glass was dirty. Food decoration was nice and staff were friendly but food were absolutely disgusting. We wasted food their .

Omg like eating in a rat race. Owner was an impeccable host but the rest of the staff flew around like nutters. One customer dare to query her pizza and had the menu promptly placed in her face. Too busy and cramped. Continuously being bumped into whilst trying to eat our meal. Not recommend for a quiet meal out

The food here is to die for and always has been. The parmos, pizzas and garlic mushrooms are personal favourites of mine but everything is delicious. The restaurant is family-run and the owner is always on hand to chat and he remembers every face. A lovely experience from start to finish.

Without wishing to sound hyperbolic; most likely the most delicious parmo I've had was served here during my visit. The food is stupendous but surprisingly reasonably priced too. Welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff. Highly recommended for top quality scran. My only minor gripe is that the location is hardly fitting of such a good restaurant (the surrounding environment isn't attractive; nestled within a very busy and gloomy Stockton urban aesthetic) but the restaurant itself can't be blamed for this, hence a well deserved 5 stars.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, we were a party of 16 and although meals ordered were different they were all served at the same time, well done Borge's.

Absolutely first class service nice friendly staff. Food amazing as ever . Great relaxing atmosphere. Ideal for family get togethers friends couples plus function rooms next door .

I went to Borge last night with 4 of my friends, from a friends recommendation. I could not rate this place higher. Firstly the atmosphere was perfect, despite it tightly packed in, there wasn't an abundance of loud people or too much background noise to distract from our own conversation, the music was modern and fun. But quiet enough, to again not distract. The service was wonderful, extremely quick and attentive, but didn't do an annoying amount of check backs, as I have worked in service, and these can be forced upon you. But they only came over when necessary, and were very polite, helpful and extremely efficient. Also the owner was around and delivering friendly and helpful table service, and he was a bubbly fun character, but again, didn't try to be the main character and come over too often. Fabulous. And the food. The food was next level. I knew it was famous for its parmos. But 4 out 5 of us got a different pasta dish, and every single one of us, left saying it was the best pasta we'd ever had. It was well presented, delicious and arrived so quickly from the order. The garlic bread starter was among the best I've had anywhere too. All in all, one of the best places I've eaten. And I will be coming back. 6/5 if I could. And the value for money felt almost like I was performing robbery. Outstanding.

Borge is a restaurant I have been going to for years now... there is a reason why they have won so many awards for their parmos! They are immense. Now I am sure their other dishes are absolutely gorgeous too! But I have to admin I have only ever had a Parmesan when coming to Borge as it is my favourite place to have one. The atmosphere is nice with very friendly staff and parking is free just round the corner. Prices are to be honest fine and as expected really for nice food. I have never tried their desserts as I am always stuffed when I finish my main meal. Their starters are nice... having tried the pate and the potato skins I would quite happily have these again! Would highly recommend and I will be going back soon!

Wow the fillet steak is probably one of the best around, the meal sizes and everything is top quality here. The staff are really polite and they actually talk on a good level and actually have a conversation. In regards to who I think may have been the owner what a person he is, goes around the tables and has a good conversation too and makes you feel very welcomed etc. This place deserves more than a 5*, I would recommend to everyone. The only problem I had was parking it's in that sort of location where parking was a nightmare and my mam is disabled so having to park a little away and have her get to the restaurant was the only issue but how can I mark them down when to be honest this isn't their fault and everything on the inside is perfect from service, food and the price!

First time eating here. It came highly recommended from my partner whose had a get girly nights here. I had a sirloin steak medium rare witch was perfectly cooked and complimented with triple cooked chips and salad. She went for a chicken parmesan witch was phenomenal. I would highly reccomend. Great food and exceptional value for money

Have never had a bad meal here, literally anything you pick from the menu will be great. Fantastic parmos, best in Stockton!! Fash is amazing and knows his customers so well, always there to say hello etc and makes sure you are well looked after.

The best of the best. Never had a bad time here, service is excellent. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food is incredible! Been here so many times and will keep coming back!

One of my favourite places to eat in. Love the food. They're happy to replace if you're not happy with your order and the service is quick. I've been going every year for my birthday for over 10 years.
