Great venue for walking or cycling around on a sunny day. You can walk around either the smaller feeder lake, Westport Lake itself or both. Trails lead off to conservation areas, a mini maze and to the Trent & Mersey Canal. There is a kids play area and visitor centre with dog-friendly café and toilets.

Fantastic place to walk or cycle around. Fishing is permitted as is running if you feel so inclined. There is a dog friendly café and a barge that serves both hot & cold drinks and snax. A play park for the little ones & a playing field for games. On the smaller lake you can race R/C boats. Den building in the woods and lots to explore, loads of wildlife & animals to see a small maze for the little ones to explore.

Lovely for a few hours, bike hire, barges, Ale Barge Oatcake barge visit occasionally as canal runs at the side of the lake. Great play park for u6 and u12. Lovely cafe with balcony overlooking tge lake, dogs allowed.....occasional canoe hire on Lake...ice cream van £1.50 Park for 3 hrs

This is a lovely place to go for a walk and take kids. The walks round the lake are nice, and the kids play area is great. Lots of swings, climbing frames and slides. I do recommend you take a picnic as the cafe is expensive, the cakes and food are nice though.

Amazing place for wheelchair accessibility. You can even hire bikes which can take a wheelchair on the back! They were extremely helpful in the cafe. Such a beautiful place which will become a go to place for us 😊

Lovely place to enjoy the wildlife. They also have tandom bikes available at a small cost of £5 for half an hour, for those who can't walk much. They also have a cafe, and you can purchase food to feed the ducks /geese. It's right by the canal too. You can get there by bus 99, or they have a parking fee.lots of benches all the way around to sit. You can also do fishing here.

I went there today, expected signs up for bird flu but there were none! There were dead birds though. It would seem that they don't care about the wildlife just the revenue. How many birds have to die before anything happens.

Great little gem of a cafe. The staff are very friendly and the refreshments reasonably priced, fresh and tasty!

Lovely park and wildlife area, near to towns and communities but feels like you are out in the countryside.
