    Amazing pub and even better staff! Such a welcoming feel from staff from the moment we stepped through the door, even when they were busy nothing was too much and there was always time for a little chat! Will 100% visit again if we ever find our selves back in the area!

    Full on star wars bar,some prime specimens frequent this place . You won't disappointed and if you have 3 big toes and 6 fingers on ya left hand you'll fit right in...!

    Really friendly place comfortable clean & a good selection of beers and spirits, it's also opposite the regent theatre 🎭 so it's handy for your intermission drinks that you can order from the friendly staff before the show, or just sit & relax with friends all in all a very nice place to visit.

    Popped in after watching a show for my 1st visit to this great little pub and won't be my last. Good choice of drinks, friendly atmosphere,one of the last decent ale houses in town, well worth a visit.

    Popped in for a drink nedore going to the theatre. Always a friendly and welcoming pub, good selection of drinks. Always feels very relaxing atmosphere . Definitely recommend this place

    **NO FOOD ORDERED** Overall good service and a nice pint of guiness( I will update with a photo as I think a tour of hanley is in order) Pint was allowed too settle with 3/4 inch head(happy days) very few bubbles making it quite creamy. Nice smoking area round back and is also partly sheltered, can get busy on theatre nights!!

    A proper pub... ! One you can talk in, too, without saying 'pardon?' all the time! Friendly staff. Sensible prices. Always use it pre-theatre.. never thought of the half-time ordering provides that many mention here, but will think of it another time.

    Spotless inside and out. Landlord maybe a little too fussy spraying tables while people are still drinking. Lovely well kept beers. Definitely worth a visit ☺️

    Still the old Unicorn I remember, but with a little less brass and copper on the walls and ceilings. Good pint of Bass on when I visited.

    My partner and I went a couple of Saturday ago, I'd never been in before... what a lovely visit it was, beautiful pub and spotless clean, and lovely staff..Will be going this Sat too.... 😁

    Visited today after walking round looking for a decent pint, I FOUND IT! a little gem, good pint, friendly staff, good soundtrack in background, enjoyed my hour here! Ill be back if ever in the area, would definitely recommend!!! Thank you!

    A long standing favourite pub. Small unspoilt and now has a rear garden and seating outside on Piccadilly. Great beer, good venue pre theatre and will take orders for the interval too.
