Always a welcoming place to go where you will undoubtedly meet new friends. Acoustic night has a lovely atmosphere and a fantastic selection of songs sung by the local gem that is Grant! Will be making it more of a regular haunt in the future

Good pub , good staff, good beer what more can you ask

Brilliant little local pub, full of fun and characters. Sunday night is Quiz night followed by Karaoke.

Often visit this pub with my partner who originally is from Stoke and a 5 minute walk from his home. They have a wonderful selection of drinks and we love their crystal glasses. On certain nights the fun loving landlord puts on some finger food for the punters which is a nice touch. We visited on Sunday night and we were nicely entertained by the karaoke singers. The lady landlord is a darling and the bar staff are all very friendly. They raise a lot for charity and often have a quiz and Bingo.

Good friendly local all ales sound. Music played by a professional local Stoke on Trent DJ, different themes through out the week and an afternoon session. Loads of info about events throughout the years and about groups and singer's.

Lovely cozy pub on the corner between West End and Oakhill. Was recommended to me by a friend who has since left the area (as many people in Stoke seem to do, can’t think why…) but misses The Wellie and always visits if he’s back in the area, so I thought I’d pop in after work one day for an impromptu pint, which turned to two after I got comfortable! Does themed live music events if that’s your cup of tea and has a nice garden out back to chill out in. I might well live up in Hartshill so it’s not my local, but I’ll definitely be back with a few mates!

I would call it a hidden gem!!! Exceptional hosts!

Lovely drop of Pedigree. Nice clean welcoming pub. Well worth a visit. The Bass is excellent as well.

Superb, friendly, welcoming, well run pub. Set out correctly to maintain social distancing but still keeping the overall atmosphere. Recent structural changes inside have been done to a very high standard and you won't be disappointed with a visit, even though the popular disco nights cannot yet return.

Old school boozer. Oozes character and atmosphere, and is spotless.

Great little pub this. Great owners and staff. Massive selection top shelf and really good drinks on tap. DJ and bingo are things on as well as always showing live sport.
