I called past Ford Green Hall but it was closed but I managed to get some great pictures of the 17th Century building and plan to go back to see the inside. It’s not expensive to visit and it’s very quaint. If you like this review please hit the like button thanks. I have since come back and it’s well worth the visit and only £3.50 entry. There are different events going on throughout the year so checkout their website prior to your visit.

Stunningly beautiful gem of a building tucked away next to a nature reserve in the most unlikely of places! Each of the downstairs rooms were traditionally and tastefully naturally decorated for Christmas which perfectly added to the atmosphere. Wonderful displays of authentic furniture of the period with plenty of interesting and clear information plaques. Very polite, friendly and helpful staff with a quaint little tea room and shop. Free parking for the museum and adjacent nature reserve just a very short walk away with disabled access to the front of the property. The very small admission price was well worth it (I can't believe I had the entire house to myself when I visited!) and I'll definitely be returning with friends and family.

Similar to but smaller than Little Moreton Hall , however it's local and just as interesting if not more so because of this. Well worth a visit. Small cafe and loo on site.

Did the house tour. £4.50 per person. It was great. The fellow who took up around was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's great to know how people lived back then and to see some of the actual furniture that they used. There is a little coffee shop downstairs. Just drinks and cake on the menu.

Lovely little place. We went for the Halloween trail to find all the witches. The trail cost and additional 20p to the entrance fee and we all loved it. There were plenty of staff on hand and one lady spoke to us and told us about the history which was interesting. Social distancing was adhered to and they do encourage people to wear face masks which I liked. They also offer dairy alternatives if you have an allergy or vegan which is a bonus. Lovely walk around the lake afterwards and would highly recommend.

A delightful treasure. Full of character. A warm welcome from staff and volunteers awaits you the moment you enter the property. You can buy tea or coffee with a slice of cake, sit indoors or outside in the garden. Well worth a visit. Free parking next to the house. Enjoy.

Not been for a few years so was surprised to see it's been refreshed. Nice experience especially with the presence of the volunteers taking roles as surgeons, soldiers etc. That may be a one off for Heritage day. Looks like it's had a good make over. Decent car park. Not of a tramp from carpark to disabled entrance though.

Afternoon opening allowed us to see this extraordinary house and read its history. The weather was kind so we could walk the grounds and get a bit of history relating to the different plants grown for a variety of purposes inc medical, magical, domestic, and textile. The cafe provided cakes and coffee with friendly service and even a witchfinder general regaling from the book by King James concerning demonology. A fun and informative visit.

The hall was beautiful would recommend to anyone. Then stroll along the beautiful Chatterley Whitfield nature reserve or take your bikes. Great day out

It's a little gem of a 17th century farmhouse. Much overlooked, which is a shame as its well kept and cared for. The staff are marvellous and it's a fabulous little place to visit. Plenty of parking and adjacent to a country park if you fancied a wander around afterwards. Highly recommended

A wonderful place to visit it is a working museum and has a little café inside and the staff are all in caricature and you can have a guided tour. There is a fee that helps with maintaining the hall. It was a wonderful experience, especially at Halloween and Christmas

What a gem!! Only open from 1pm - 4pm (last entry is 3.30pm) but absolutely stuffed with historic items. A 1634 house that has been extended over time and run by a community charity. There's a film that runs on a loop advising the viewer of how the house was built, who lived there, their professions, and how they lived. Only £5 entry fee and with a small cafe. Well worth a visit.

Quaint little house, oozing with history. Main part was built in 1624 then over the years more parts was added on. Unfortunately, the house was flooded twice, 1946 and 1987. The house promotes a lovely herb garden. Adult ticket is £4.50 and relies heavily on donations to maintain the up keep of this beautiful Tudor house. There is a small café, souvenir shop and toilet facilities and nearby car park.

Fabulous, so interesting, being able to immerse yourself in history. Will be back again. Super garden too, a bonus. Staff and volunteers more than helpful and so knowledgeable.

A real "hidden gem". A small tudor house but of great interest. Run by a charitable trust. We went on heritage open day but normal cost of £4.50 is very cheap for what you see. Visit is greatly enhanced by knowledgeable and friendly volunteers who explain day-to-day living in tudor times. Good refreshments at reasonable prices. £3 guide book is informative but easy to read (no author mentioned though s/he deserves praise). Check website for special events.

Great history of the hall and the Viking event was great fun. We really enjoyed our visit. There are seats set aside for the elderly to rest on the way round the hall.
