Well kept park and glorious blossom trees in bloom as well as most of the trees coming back to life with green leaves. The fountain is a focal point with some good surrounding seating area that is a good place to rest and take a breath. The college overlooks the park. Caldon Park is next to Hanley Park.

When I left school in 1967 I got my first job in this park & it was lovely all the green houses were there along with a large one that visitors could enjoy by looking around it it was also the home of the last working horse I think his name was Hercules a big gentle giant that all the children liked to come and visit him some times they even sat on him, a lot of lovely memories, unfortunately that's all it is now I called into have a look around a while a ago and it's all gone apart from the grass and a few flower beds l am really glad that I was there in the 1960s & saw it at its best I just feel sorry for all those who have missed it.
