The Cape Town fish market is a great place to visit if you feel like having some fresh seafood. There's an amazing selection of sushi and Japanese dishes here, and the food is always high quality. Plus, the cocktails are top-notch. It is not even a short walk from the city center. The management is very helpful and supportive. If you're looking for a great place in Stone Town, this is definitely the place for you!

Cape Town Fish Market is quite the paradox where names go. This is quite an upmarket restaurant. Romantically set on the seafront the entire restaurant is built on a boardwalk jutting out into the sea at Forodhani. The seafood is fresh and beautifully prepared. The wine menu is satisfactory. My only regret was that I did not have more people with me to taste some more dishes. I did forage into having a steak, however maybe I should have just stuck with the seafood, as the medium rare steak was chewy. The music was lovely, and all in all a very enjoyable and memorable evening spent in a beautiful and romantic restaurant. For a glass of wine and two dishes my bill was reasonable, below USD 40 for for the class, experience and food quality. Thank you Cape Town Fish Market for a lovely evening.

The ambience here is breathtaking, this restaurant sits on the shore of the Indian Ocean. The attendants were nice and ready to help.

Do not get mislead by the name, this is not a fish market but a very lively restaurant. Sea food is the specialty but you can also order a variety of chicken and beef items from the menu. Offers hot as well as soft drinks too. The service is quick and the staff is very polite. The quality and quantity of food served was above satisfactory as well. Accepts cash and card payments. Definitely a must visit place of you are in Zanzibar.

Excellent place to eat and have some drinks close to Tempo Hotel. My girl friend and I went there. They have live band on Friday ,Sat Sunday nights. 7-11 pm. They singers they usually had we're very good. The band was about 7 people.all very good. Different singers on different days. Place is spacious, so everyone is not on top of you. Service was very good. Waitresses we're all very nice went there all three nights we were there. Food was out of this world. Sooo good. They don't rush you out and we stayed till closing. Would def come here again when I go to Africa.

Really nice place with good food and service. Views are amazing and great for watching the sunset. The sushi is quite pricey and in taste a bit unusual. I would rather go for the various other options. My sirloin steak was good and reasonably priced. BTW: There is also a CPFM in Dar Es Salaam, also recommendable.

We went here twice. Roger is our favorite staff. Their grilled seafood was amazing! Also their fruit shakes!! The service was somehow quick which is a luxury in Zanzibar. The view is breathtaking!! Overall we love it!!! We figured out that this location was built for one of the royals for their visit in Zanzibar and now a cool restaurant is situated here.

Friendly service, fairly fast too. Tasty food. More modern menu and atmosphere than most venues in Stone Town. The "sunset bar" upstairs is possibly the best spot for watching the sunset with some of the best cocktails in Stone Town.

We decided to have lunch here, the experience could have been better. We ordered the catch of the day and the lobster thermidor, the catch of the day was good however the lobster was filled with prawns, so not really sure why they would price it at 69,000. Honestly the prices are high and the food not of the same caliber, I believe the place is more suitable for drinks and maybe a couple of small bites than to have a full meal as I’m sure there are much better and cheaper places.

We were at the restaurant to have a good view of the sunset, and it is in fact a perfect spot to enjoy that moment. We had some drinks to start - and decided to stay for dinner. The prices are similar to Europe, so not very cheap, but quality and quantity and the service is fine. We enjoyed our dinner and our evening.

Easy to find ( close to the old forth and the port ). The food is great and affordable . The service could be better. Some waiters are note welcoming ( they seemed tired ). If you decide to go I recommend the sunset time ( it’s really beautiful) and after you can go out and enjoy the night food market just outside the restaurant.

The views, amazing! Near the beach but when the wind is strong, not too fun to sit outside. The drink options are okay presentation is pretty. The lobster was sooooooo good and tasty. The dessert was also good. I loved the staff too. I do think it’s overpriced though and the food doesn’t taste too good.

Great place to go eat and enjoy the sea view of Stone Town. Staff are friendly and service satisfactory. The food could be better. Had to ask for my food to be heated as it was cold when it got to me!! The chef should make sure the food is of the right temperature, especially seafood, to avoid food poison or other form. The supervisor apologised and gave me a desert to compromise for the mistake. That didn't put me off. I went back and tried something different

Variety of sea food with drinks ( beers could be colder). Good view with friendly service. Good place for sea food lovers. They also serve seesha and have a live DJ

The view is breathtaking, as busy as it gets the service is still fast I was impressed. They have a variety of options on their menu: indulge in seafood options you won't regret. It was a memorable experience overall

Surprisingly there were a few vegan items listed on the menu and clearly marked so! I had the vegan poke bowl and chili fried tofu and both were delicious although I preferred the tofu starter.

I stayed twice and the service is so fast in few minutes and the personal are nice but only things there is more than 4 pages in the menu only for sushi and there isn’t a lot of choices for the mains dishes and please turn off the AC in the toilet.

Food and service inside was great. Getting in was an issue. The greeter lied and stated that the restaurant was full even though we could see open tables. He stated that they were reserved. Another greeter came at the same time and stated that there open tables upstairs. As we were being escorted in, we were seated in the same area that was supposedly reserved on the first level with the desireable view. Notices that a great majority of the patrons seated there were not Black. Guess the first greeter wanted to cater to a particular clientele. The greeter himself was Black.☹️
