Great place to chilling and enjoy the sunset. I had grilled tuna with salad it was tasty but you can improve on your salad.

One of the must-dos in Stonetown if you want peace and a proper view towards sunset and "skyline". Mainly built with local woods Dreamer's Island is located in front of Beach House restaurant - in the sea. They might change location to the other side of Stonetown depending on the season. Just walk on the beach and wave over. Within 3-5 mins someone comes and picks you up by boat. A beer 0,5l is 7.000TSH. They offer food which we haven't tried though. Just heard it was good. There are two sundecks of which you can jump into the clear water of Stonetown's sea. Mainly temporary locals between 20 and 35 who work for NGOs / hospitals come there as it seems not to be promoted on tourist sites (fortunately). A few interesting characters we happen to meet there. A spice dealer, honeymooners from Bolivia, cyclists who travel on two wheels, etc... You will not regret to enjoy a day on the "Republic of Dreamer's Island" - especially during the hot season...

We loved spending the afternoon here. They have a nice upstairs sun deck and also a shady seating area downstairs. The fish curry was excellent and the portions are very big. You can also jump / swim from the restaurant so it’s a great place to take a dip. To get there you wave or whistle at the restaurant and they will come pick you up!

Amazing place to see the sunset, very calm and pleasant. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. The view is breathtaking. They have a boat available to reach this place. It's a place to be if you're in the city of stone

What an enjoyable way to spend our last evening in Zanzibar. It was a little confusing to figure out how to get there at first, but if you walk along the park right next to the fish market there is a sign that says "dreamers island" and someone from the restaurant with a restaurant shirt was there and helped us wave down the boat to transport us to the bar. Once there it was such a great vibe - the whole boat is covered in hammocks, swings, or big comfy couches. We spent hours here enjoying the drinks and the view. Great spot, wish we had found it sooner!

We had a lovely time at Dreamer’s Island. Idyllic vue on the sunset, a lot of places to relax and waiters that are just adorable.

Great location and service. The staff is very professional, the ocean view is wow. Not so great value for the money, everything on the menu is pretty expensive. Our mojitos had a lot of sugar and the food portions are very small.

We've been there three weeks ago. At the moment "just" the restaurant is open officially. The feeling being there and the quality of the food are just wonderfull, the staff is extremely friendly and nice. Thanks so much for this great time!!!

Nice but have expected more for the price. The food is ok but not the best one, as we were announced.
