Impressive weir on Lake Baldeney. You can easily walk over the weir to the opposite side.

My visit to Lake Baldeney was very pleasant. On the bridge you can see a lot in both directions. If you're lucky, you can even see the "fish lift" live in action. This is a passage (like an elevator) for the fish that connects the different water levels. A truly great view. Many interesting information signs are distributed on the bridge for orientation. I can definitely recommend a day trip in nice weather and pleasant temperatures. Edit: Pictures are 2 weeks from the current apocalypse😅

Sehr schön für Wassersport Liebhaber, Wanderfreunde und einfach Ruhesuchende. Für leibliche Wohl ist auch gut gesorgt mit paar Restaurants und Cafés, die allerdings beim gutem Wetter sehr schnell voll sind.

Ein Erlebnis für Große & kleine Leute, Vielleicht mal mit der "Weißen Flotte" durch die Schleuse vom See in die Ruhr , oder Andersherum durchfahren. Ein Höhenunterschied 😊...... Oder sich mal die Einzigartige "Fischtreppe",eher Fischfahrstuhl, ansehen, auch das Werk kann man besichtigen, Da müsst ihr aber selbst nochmal die Besichtigungstouren-Zeiten googeln. Der Regatterturm ist vielleicht ca.500m wech, Dort gibt es Getränke,Speisen & Souvenir 's,😊, Auch die Haltestelle der Weißen Flotte ist hier. Und viel Natur, Wünsche euch viel Spaß.
