I can say it's a traditional german restaurant, despite it offers other dishes like Pasta. There is a good variety of german food, they were tasty and the portion size was quite big! The staff were friendly and the service was fast and great!

Comfortable atmosphere. The highlight of my meal was definitely the Schnitzels, which were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. I also tried the Schlosser beer and it was a great complement to my meal. We were three people and we all agreed that the three Schnitzels we had were some of the best we've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal and a fantastic beer selection. Srvice was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Located in the heart of the city, about 10 minutes walk from the central station

The place had a good vibe and the mushroom soup was to die for. I have ordered the steak with pepper sauce as my main course, the steak was a bit tough tbh. Also the staff were nice but could be a bit friendlier. But all in all a nice place to be at.

This place is unassuming, but has incredible food and drinks at a very reasonable price. While vacationing in the area, my friends and I stopped here for dinner. It was very busy, but the server was kind and did his best to get to us ASAP. The food, and I cannot overstate this, is out of this world. Just absolutely delicious. The mushroom soup, the chicken and veggie pan, the desserts, the drinks...all of it. Whoever the chef is, I wanted to thank them personally, but I'm positive they were just as busy as the rest of the staff. Definitely check this out if you're in town.

Great Germany pub/restaurant. Service was grand as we arrived late and kitchen was closing but they let us off so we can order food for a big group. Food was nice and the drinks were nice to have.

Their foods are always excellent! and very nice and friendlly staffs! of course price is very reasonable.

Couldn't have had a better experience there. Went with some friends that have a dog, sat outside. We got some schnitzel and pork, everything was very well made. As we don't speak German very well they had a English version of the menu.

It is a nice place to have a dinner. Portions are large, food is delicious. I ordered schnitzel (chicken) and mashed potatoes.

I had dinner here based on previous reviews. I didnt have a reservation but the waitress was kind enough to help me with a table. I had the schnitzel and it was very good. It came with a side of fries and salad. The salad dressing was very good too. I would definitely go back when in Dusseldorf.

Surprisingly good. Looking it from outside one could not guess. Really good - and massive portion. Schnitzel with salad and fried potatoes and half liter weiß beer less than 25€.

Nice ambiance, traditional German kitchen. Really great food! Only not 5 stars because we made a reservation but we couldn’t sit at a normal table because the waiter told us it was reserved for customers that come every week. At the end of the evening nobody showed up for this table. Also we felt pushed to order fast because the kitchen was closing. Then he came back later and took al the time to take the order because the kitchen was not closing. We didn’t tip because of not feeling very welcome. The staff was not afraid to show us how they felt about not tipping.

Really tasty food and big portions. Fair prices. Only the service was a little chaotic, but fine for a busy evening. I'd go there again!

Such a coy local place. Friendly service, great food. The masks and COVID Certificate asking is rather tiring, but cannot blame the restaurant, they just need to follow rules and regulations.

Top-Notch! Since two months ago Vossen has became my standard of comparison! The food’s quality, the friendly service and the vibe are all fantastic. We will go back for sure!

Warm atmosphere and friendly staff - we were looked after. English menu provided. The food tasted good and was more than reasonably priced. We had to walk along some dark streets to get there, but only a short walk from the train station!

I’m not the type of person to go back and leave negative comments but this was a situation that definitely compelled me to share my experience. First off, the food… fantastic. This is not about the food. I took a team of my employees out to Vossen to recap our European work trip, spend some time talking shop over dinner, and overall just enjoy our last night out before flying home the next day. At first no problem. We ordered some beers, put in some small dishes to start and were enjoying the night. Shortly after, our waiter starts making some very awkward advances toward me. And look, I’m light hearted and can easily just brush off what’s intended to be a joke or some friendly banter. But when he started coming by and putting his hands on me, making very aggressive advances, and saying things I’m not going to put out publicly, it went way too far. It was really uncomfortable and weird. I’d made a point to try and defuse the situation but it only got worse. Here I am trying to have some conversation with my colleagues and this waiter is hanging over me. Seriously weird. Even that, I can brush off. What made things far more uncomfortable was when the waiter followed my colleague and I into the men’s room and started rubbing my shoulders while I’m taking a piss and making comments as he’s watching over my shoulder! Seriously! That happened. As I’m paying the bill he even grabs my credit card and takes note of my name. I’ve been all over the world, am totally fine with some banter, but this was just so bizarre. Bar tender and staff obviously saw what was going on. It was not much of surprise to them which leads me to believe this happens more than a few times. We will definitely head elsewhere next year. If you’re reading this, I suggest you do as well.
