The entire open-air museum is absolutely worth seeing, but it gets its own review.

A very nice local museum with many vivid farmhouses from our area...also very suitable for families...lots of playgrounds and space to run...interesting facts very well explained and, above all, very competent museum staff...always worth a visit ...whether young or old

A nice place to learn something about the past! The individual houses are well described! In the toy house you can admire beautiful old toys! In the corner shop you are served by a very nice woman! There you can get bread, sweets and coffee

Very nicely designed museum. You can really immerse yourself in that time and imagine how people on the Lower Rhine used to live!

Christmas market canceled, no update on the internet. We were told that there are probably several pages about events and not all of them are always updated. We were told that we were probably on the wrong side. How are you supposed to know that the search terms Christmas market, Dorenburg Castle, Grefrath do not lead to the right pages? Very annoying as we had to travel further.

A very tranquil Christmas market, you don't get pushed through the crowds. Nice stands, more craft oriented. Unfortunately not until next year

Super family friendly!!! A lots of interesting and nice design element incorporated into every part of the museum. There was a very nice restaurant inside that has super tasty pancakes!! It was a wonderful day trip for both kids and adults!!!

We visited "Garten Leben" on two days. Well organized, very appealing and high quality offerings. We enjoyed the two days in a pleasant atmosphere and are looking forward to the 2021 event in the open-air museum.

Landed, a country trip in the open-air museum. Very clear, nice tour with many exhibitors. We can highly recommend the Pannenkookhuus! Splendid.
