The Crays is a relaxing place to stay, even though on the main road, as the lush gardens minimised the noise. We stayed for 3 nights in a studio set up that had everything we needed. The spacious bathroom was a welcome surprise. Megs and Wendy were very helpful with ideas for places to visit and where to eat out. Would recommend booking directly with them for the best deal. It was great to leave our car undercover at the cottage and walk to the Red Boat for our Gordon River Cruise.

Great location, well appointed and comfortable. View of the water, washing machine and drier and suitable for families, couples and the elderly who require a safe environment.

Nice & cosy. Great location for a few nights to explore Strahan. Friendly helpful staff. Although on the main Esplanade the setting is an oasis of lush greenery. Walking distance to several nice restaurants, shops & attractions of Strahan.

This was a spacious self catering unit with a lovely deck where we had our sundowners. We only had one night here but it was a great stay. Staff was friendly and the bed comfy. Also close to the waterfall which is walking distance.

Mick and prue are a Nice couple that own this place and made us feel very welcome. Decent double room with kitchen and facilities to cook your own if you want. Nice spot and would stay again for sure.

Lovely two bedroom cabin, huge lounge / kitchen / dining. Short walk to wharf and restaurants. Fantastic hosts, super flexible, welcoming and informative.

Great location to explore Strahan on foot. Metres from harbour and a great waterfall walk. Website photos don't do it justice as rooms have been modernised and are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Large deck with a very relaxed native vegetation setting. Prue and Mick are great hosts. We've stayed at several places in Strahan and this is definitely our favourite. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

It's great to see the new owners are investing in the property. Our unit had a new, very comfortable lounge suite, and new reverse cycle air conditioner. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes to the town centre. Mick & Prue are great hosts. Will stay here when next in Strachan. Phil & Glenda

We had a great stay here. Close location to the heart of Strahan, and the cruise and railway station. Prue and Mick were great hosts, and both friendly and helpful. The bed and shower were great, lounge comfortable, good heating system. Bar fridge and portable hot plate, microwave etc. heating was good and there was undercover parking. The laundry was also very useful and there was a large deck.

Can’t fault anything except for the WiFi, it was quite slow so we couldn’t use it for work. Otherwise, very comfortable and private :)

I stayed here for two nights with two mates riding motorbikes around Tassie. Meg and the team welcomed us with open arms and nothing was too much trouble. Access to washing machine was a bonus for us. It's a 5min walk into town and 10-15 around to Regatta Point. We did the Gordon river cruise which is great but missed out on the steam train ride (book this early too). The rooms are very clean and everything is there. We had a front room but it was very quite after dark so no issues there. Overall top spot. PS under cover parking for the bikes.

Rarely do you find accommodation that combines soul with such good taste! We have stayed in most of the units over the years, the location? Perfect and accessible to town and all amenities. The premises? Spotlessly clean comfortable and luxuriously equipped, nestled into a patch of verdant green rain-forest tempered with beautiful camellias and shrubs, over;looking MacQuarie Harbour, the ambiance is perfect!!! Friendly and obliging, truly has become our home from home!

Wow! Audrey made our day! We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon with no reservation… Audrey made us feel welcome from the minute she answered the phone. The accommodation made us feel like we were at home. Spacious, warm and comfortable. Walking distance from the heart of Strahan. Great spot to be. I’d stay there again!

We stayed in Unit 1 for 2 nights. What a great place, spotlessly clean, comfortable & lovely gardens. On arrival we were met by Wendy who was very accommodating & extremely helpful. We would highly recommend Cray Cottages to anyone luck enough to find themselves in Strahan

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay in unit 5. It was impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable beds with elect blankets, good heating and a generous deck surrounded by gorgeous garden. Quiet location, easy walk to restaurants. Friendly accommodating staff.
